  • the 90s were the best time of hip hop!! i love to listen to stuff like this (Kane fucking rocks!) the whole day cuz most of todays stuff sucks ass!

  • One of the greatest beats of all time...also, lol at 4:40-4:42.

  • Biggies Freestyle Is Better !! "Microphone Murderer" R.I.P. B.I.G.

  • @3392001 - Biggie is good at freesyles but I think BDK is better than B.I.G. any motha fuckin' day! And I aint no kid, I was alive when Biggie was alive and loved his songs but even then Big Daddy Kane reigned supreme in my book. B.I.G. came out in 94 and by then BDK was losing his juice, B.I.G. definitely held New York down when BDK was slippin'.

  • LONG LIVE KANE!

  • Big Daddy Kane is one of, if not the best, MC's to ever grace the mic!! Enough said!!

  • AINT NO HALF STEPPIN

  • @RealHipHopSucks93 Kill yourself.

  • @ass3678 yup!

  • @RealHipHopSucks93 i agree

  • @weefoo11 this song is for lames. lil wayne over big daddy kane.

  • @RealHipHopSucks93

Why is it every time someone posts a rap video someone has to compare it to another rapper. Just watch the video.

  • @RealHipHopSucks93 I Can't Believe that your even Serious With that Comment. Clearly You like Bubblegum Commercial and not "Real" Hip-Hop!!!

  • @RealHipHopSucks93 big daddy kane will kill that bitch

  • @RealHipHopSucks93 ha big daddy would destroy lil wayne ,wayne cant even rap

  • i was born in 1991 as well but for some reason 80's beats are just amazing. I grew up listening to modern rappers but when i heard 80's beats i was hooked. East Coast hip hop is the best and im from Wales,United Kingdom....if anyone knows where that is LOL!

  • Only 157,538 hits...WTF!!!!

  • Lol he looks like he's strung out XD

  • i bet the 1 dislike is a gay 12 year old who listens to lil wayne

  • damn, BDK aint no BS. props to youtube for making dope stuff so readily available.

  • BDK and Rakim are my two favourite rappers - not many can come close to these giants of rap!

  • No one quite has that Big Daddy Kane flow. Personally I think Kane has the best flow. I know a bunch of folks will disagree and go with Rakim, and thats cool because I got respect for Rakim as well. Even today though not many songs can touch this. Lyrics, and that beat is just so fresh even today :).

  • @CalculatedMove no big pun had the best flow...but kane was a beast tho

  • @prophecy505 There is only 1 rapper today could BATTLE KANE, & that's Talib Kweli!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @og570 nah i think chino xl,serius jones, and kool g rap would have a Shot.......because chino has those intellectual punch lines like.....i been tryna reach u for years im finally getting a look im fighting for a chance like a fetus at planned parenthood....but i apologize this is big daddy kane's video so lets leave him in discussion........A SALAAM ALAKUM TO BIG DADDY KANE.......ONE OF THE GREATS

  • "friday the 13th, ima play Jason"

on the song My Chick Bad by Ludacris, Nicki Minaj says "Friday the 13th, guess whos playing Jason"

I guess it all comes back to the classics.

  • After Rakim,Kane was my favorite rapper back then.

  • I like wut the guy under me sed

  • I love the video, but, man, there's some things in there that make no sense. Even the use of 80's video effects, fades and cuts I was like, Huh?

  • Big daddy Kane is a great mc he is so underrated! He's a top 10 in my book

  • top 5

  • @jmaal2345 top 10? he's top 3 in my book. there's rakim, krs, kane, g rap, ll and then everyone else..

  • @jmaal2345 My Top 5 list.

    1. Rakim

    2. Tupac

    3. Big Daddy Kane

    4. Notorious B.I.G

    5. LL Cool J

I base my top five on lyrical ability, lyrical flow, substance, subject matter, and versatility. I think Rakim is the best raw lyricist. Tupac had the best substance and subject matter. The Notorious B.I.G. had the best lyrical flow. Big Daddy Kane had a good balance of all of them. LL was probably the most versatile.

Chuck D, KRS One, Kool G Rap NAS, Jay-Z

  • @calstate How can you have a top five list. Nas is most def my favortie but I can't just block myself at only 5. What about Jadakiss?
