Exactly!!! When watching the DMC's I'm always amazed by the skills, but somehow it often gets boring. Technique is amazing, but musicality is often completely missing.

That's what I like about Koala, Shadow, Mixmaster Mike, JAZZY JEFF and of course JFB... they don't forget about the music as well, the fun(ny) side. They use turntablism to add to the music, not the other way.

I love Q-Bert, he's the Dalai Lama of Scratching, but it's too much for simple listening and enjoying.
