@raudelmarquez COBUS hi hi hat used PAISTE pst5 PAISTE medium used. medium crash is also pst 5 and the crash sabian thin crash is a meduim that serves to make the cuts and the splash is istanbul cymbals, and I recommend PAISTE PST 5 also will not break because I have a very tough September 1 Paiste rock and knew pst5 medium thin crash and so far I was not broke.

@ megalosno1 - if i'm honest, drum lessons can hold you back a little bit. For instance; when I was on grade 2, i thought i had certain boundaries and thought that i was crap because people in my school were better than me. But if you learn songs you like on your own, it DOES boost your confidence. And if you play freely and just make up anything that sounds good to you, it builds your confidence up even more :) :P

I don't think that any drummer ,like me or anyone else that know that drums is a passion, would just stay on practicing on the kit.... You set your limits.... I had a 20% raise in my hand speed during the christmas holidays for example just by playing with my sticks on pillows or my feet... It doesn't depend on how you are learning but on how passionate you are about what you do

There can be an combination of time effectively. You are not limited to the constraints of "regular" time signatures.

If you want to check out drumming like this, listen to Dream Theater for some time signature experimentation.

In the music i work on, i repeat a little part of the previous bar, example, if your working in 4/4. and you only want to do 2 beats, a 2/4 bar, then jump back into 4/4. it feels fluid, and is fun to play. but the listener wont know. but advanced time sigs stand out, and can be amazingly fun to play.
