Steve Ballmer actually handles this pretty well. I was surprised.

As far as the supposed "corruption", if you have a company that big, with that much money at stake, there is ALWAYS going to be some aspect of corruption. Greediness is natural human behavior.

Vista isn't great, but it isn't at all as bad as some people make it sound. Mac is pretty good, but it has its share of issues as well. Linux and Ubuntu are not bad either, but they will never have the popularity that Windows has.

@TheRealEcho199 Vista sucked to high hell. Last "update" destroyed the OS completely got me a Win98 look. Then I switched to Linux. That surprisingly works very well. And it is a lot faster. A lot.

I've had no problems at all with Vista. No "fails and errors". It's much better than XP. People expect it to run on their old, crappy systems. It's different and people don't like change so they complain. As for Ubuntu, I've tried it. It's ok but Open Suse is miles ahead. Ubuntu is dumbed down a fair bit for my liking. It doesn't run all my hardware anyway, at least it didn't when I tried it before my upgrade. Linux is typically bad for support of new hardware.

It is not new situation for MS directors and Balmer is american so of cource joke is coming immediately after there is no more 'danger'. I think this man throwing eggs did very good PR job for fighting against corruption. I believe MS is paying lots of money to get that kind of big deals and in post-communist countries corruption is easy way to get deals. Fine job! One minute show, nobody hurts and lots of publicity.

i got to admit, ballmer handled it pretty well, he kept his cool, made a joke, carried on. the boy that made a scene only wanted to be in the news. he spoke badly, had bad aim, he probably feels like a hero, but come on, is he training to be a terrorist or what? throwing bombs next? While i don't approve of throwing things at someone, I was glad to see that in Hungary they don't arrest and tazer someone for this. Letting the guy walk out peacefully defused the situation. Answering violence with violence never creates peace.

FYI. There is an ongoing trial against MS in Hungary in connection to a tender won by MS.

There are corruption charges against the company.

The first day of this trial was set on that day as Balmer visited Mp. Gyurcsány. The trial was postponed because of "technical reasons". ;)
