Hi, I wan't to know if the record, after the transfer on the computer, start automaticly, or return before at the start, and then start, as in the video.
@OlympusAudio I just purchased the 8500PC and I recorded it while it was hidden in my jacket pocket on the chair because I was afraid of the prof lol. The quality is understandable 80% of the time but I guess it's because I put it hidden in my jacket pocket. Meh. I will try with the next aulas and see the quality.

I wonder if I can record lectures well enough from 12 meters distance.. and with this thing hidden in my backpack. I don't want anyone to notice. rofl
I hope I will be able to use this for the lectures at my university. I am tired of writing down at hyper speed while losing attention to my own notes later. Enough with that. I hope this device will help me! I have heard it helped other uni students a lot as well!
I didn't actually make this video. I re-posted an unboxing created by another user. I pretty much use my recorders for meeting notes or recording live music/band practice. I use the LS-7 for that, though. You'll be happy with the VN. It's our most popular line.
The unboxing is not that good but at least is the only one on YouTube about the VN digital audio recorders series so thank you. I just purchased the VN8700PC :-)
@OlympusAudio mostly for University-related stuff like recording interviews for later transcription. I just received it (right now, actually) so I'm gonna see how does it behave :-) For what do you use yours? have you found any problems with it from the time you made the video to now?
