I went to Tibet last year. It was a great experience, I could see different cultures mixed up on very well up there. This also boosted the economy in Tibet. From my experience there, it's a lovely city with lovely local people(both Tibetans and mainland people).
It is only a small number of Dalailama's people doing those terrifying things and of course this won't destroy the bond between Tibetans and mainland people as the fact is that they are getting on well.
so u will find that only minority of tibetan in exile want to free tibet caz they were slave holders and their relatives in Tibet before 1959,then got their asskick out of Tibet caz they did not give up slave system in Tibet. There were no human rights for the majority tibetan caz 95% population were slaves.

In my hometown, we have a lot of Korean class mates in high school and university because we close to Korean autonomous region.I never heard a conflict between Han and Korean. In high school teachers always say they are clever on study. My Korea class mates told me they went to Korea Primary School which could learn both language instead of the regular school like most of us go. When they go to university they got extra marks only because they are minority. That's my own experience.
I have a very good friend who is a Muslim in Primary school. As a ten year old kid, I know nothing about them, I feel we are same. I share my best food with her. She quietly dumped it into Toilet and was seen by our teacher. The teacher seriously let me know they do not eat Pork. I really feel guilty. I went to Tibet last year. It was a great experience, I could see different cultures mixed up on very well up there. This also boosted the economy in Tibet. From my experience there, it's a lovely city with lovely local people(both Tibetans and mainland people).
It is only a small number of Dalailama's people doing those terrifying things and of course this won't destroy the bond between Tibetans and mainland people as the fact is that they are getting on well.

In my hometown, we have a lot of Korean class mates in high school and university because we close to Korean autonomous region.I never heard a conflict between Han and Korean. In high school teachers always say they are clever on study. My Korea class mates told me they went to Korea Primary School which could learn both language instead of the regular school like most of us go. When they go to university they got extra marks only because they are minority. That's my own experience.

I have a very good friend who is a Muslim in Primary school. As a ten year old kid, I know nothing about them, I feel we are same. I share my best food with her. She quietly dumped it into Toilet and was seen by our teacher. The teacher seriously let me know they do not eat Pork. I really feel guilty. However, we are still best friends till we went to different cities. I guess there is a lot of stories like these in China about Race. And that is why we feel anger about what western media said.

its pretty hard to defend a country who actively censors everything their citizens see and poisons their environment. its also funny that they are communist but allow all the countries wealth to be focused into the hands of a select few. If i was Tibet i wouldn't want to be part of that country either. there should be more than just protest.

I'd like serious talks as always. But pls be aware that ppl all have independent thinking. We also observed the problem u've pointed out. However, the change needs to be done by our own hands, becuz we r the ppl bearing the pain, not those protesters. Pls understand, China will improve, and has improved, but it's not in a way some ppl want to see.
Real Tibetans are suffering from riots in China. These r Tibetans in exile, most of which used to be slave owners before China "invasion".

I don't like to misinterpret your words "more than just protest". But in no way we will fear of anything more than just protest, just like what happened in American Civil War.

Olympic is a game not politics.The girl is innocent,so the same with all the athletes and players.Don`t treat sports game as a foolish polictial event.Anyone who destroy the 2008 olympic game is making a violence and would be condemned. peace and love.

I agree. But what does that have to do with this? Saying 'somebody else did it' is not a defense for doing something wrong yourself. It's a childish argument.
