@PresObama2012 LOOK at the way she presents herself today, some songs she sings like "Up In My Face", how she acts all BARBIE like in her videos and I'm sure she has a boob job. You can't say that she's just as true today as she was in the 90's. Over time the industry just led her to looking and sometimes acting like a hore, decaying some of that 'real woman' glow that captured us in the past.

@jmek08 That happens with most celebrities. Most get plastic surgery. So what if she got a boob job, it's her body and her decision. She probably just had an augmentation, not any implants and minimal botox. She still looks normal and very good so no one cares. She still is just as true. What are you talking about? Music has changed. She can't do the same things she did in the 90s. Nobody can. It's the music fan's fault not hers. She still writes amazing songs like she always have.

Her tone is just ridiculous! I think she tries to maintain the crackly-ness of her chest voice up into the higher register and when it doesn't sound as round (and it isn't supposed to. It's high) she constricts her throat. Unintentionally, she's compromised clear, dense belting of the early nineties for this chesty, crackly tone... She can have it all... If only there was someone to guide her... I don't think she'll ever get a vocal coach. She's too egotistical in that regard...

@mcsguardianangel my theory is 1:she wanted it for her fans. 2:the main reason is that under a contract, the label gives you a certain amount of album releases they require you to have, and i think she wanted to get away from Colombia as fast as she could, hence releasing back to back albums.
