the barracks are meant to tank units (such as people use the engineering bay to distract reinforcements at a choke, like a bridge), to prevent yamato from hitting tanks, and mainly so boxer cant see whats under there for when he inches up his tanks. but boxer has always been the number 1 player when it comes to tank wars

Hmm...he killed all his SCVs for wraiths, so he didn't have any ground troops to kill valkyries.

With all those wraiths firing at stuff though, the valkyries probably would've run out of sprites and wouldn't be able to fire...plus they might only be able to fire 1-2 bursts because they'd be dead before they're done cooling down.

What is the max limit of sprites?

It was a lot less calculated, I find. Which made for more enjoyable matches. Players used to be able to come up with really interesting builds a lot more than now, and with those interesting builds and plays the games were fun.

The current metagame of starcraft has lost the "freedom" of the old matches, with nearly every play a calculated series of builds and counters with brilliant obscure tactics a rare treat.

I'm just curious... how was Oov expecting to win this one? Once he won that first battle, he should have went in and took out the reinforcements as they came and moved in on Boxer's Ports. There weren't enough turrets to take out ALL those wraiths. Was Oov expecting to simply outlast Boxer's minerals/gas? Boxer had a base one up on him... GaH! I don't understand.

good question but he had quite alot of turrets everywhere and turrets have 200hp and they do 20 dmg while wraith have i think 150hp and they only do 8 dmg to ground and that would kill most of his wraith and if he wanted to take out the turrets to kill off his goliath and bc he would have so lil and boxer would have enough army just to attk him thats why oov had to make marines to kill of turrets and im not sure if this could be right but i think

the real meaning of lifting up the B or E is because the sight range of tank is smaller then it's attack range, so the E or B is used to give the sight for the tank, so increase real attack range.
