The car is a 2.2Litre VTECH Double overhead cam engine...front wheel drive and has 118 Kw of power in a Type Si and around 140Kw of power in a VTIR they are a preety quick and reasonably priced car and can look really good with a bit of work...i would recomend a late model prelude VTIR or SI as they are great fun and also rather economical

dude preludes are bad ass cars i have one and love it more than my any of my other cars, and ive owned 3 crx's, 1 eg hatch, and one ef hatch and i love it more than any of them :)

@AODJ001 No offence, but is your dad cracked out? My Prelude was the perfect car, comfort, speed, safe and cool.

The only thing was my prelude was a oil burner. I eventually put 20/50 (yes I know thats ridiculous thick) in and it solved the problem and ran fine.

Fucking out of stater pushed us into as fire hydrant.

@AODJ001 it's a great car, it's fast, handles well, fairly good on gas. i have a 4th gen and it's just so pretty. i love it. the only problems i have were due to a faulty battery relocation.

man i got a 96 2.3l h23 and your prelude is not fulling up on a 15 or 16 gallon tank for 40 bucks dont lie and mine is not that good on gas i dont expect it to be its a sports car there not supposed to be good on gas maybe 22 miles per gallon on my lesser engine
