It sold separately. Its a 4 button long range remote. Each function is operated by each button.You dont have to go thru all functions..

Does the "control module" come with your LED rings kit?

Or is it sold separately?

Can you show us what the controller looks like?

Is it a one button, 'click thru' selection?

Or can you choose exactly what mode you want next? I ask because the strobe light left-2-right would be a major no-no while driving, but would make it impossible to 'cycle thru' to change modes while in driving.
