God will lift Jackie Appiah and promote her to the maximum. i am happy for giving all the glory to God at the beginning of her interview. this is Johny from Ghana , living in Europe.
@pokia01 Just to let you know, I share more Ghollywood movies with my American friends than I do Nollywood. They understand the English of the Gwood movies better than the Nwood movies.
@pokia01 I saw "Sting in a Tale," "Life and Living It," and several other films be Shirley Frimpong-Manso. I appreciated the clear English and the scenes where people would speak their native tongue when they were angry or something. Shirley Frimpong-Manso is an amazing director and writer. Well, I guess I have to "eat my words," because Ghollywood is cranking out better visual and sound quality. I still prefer Nollywood's story lines and cultural aspects, also the beautiful names of actors

i am glad that jackie is not doing any Lesbian roles. I am tired of this gay agenda. I like to see AFRICAN movies and i like to see African culture. No need for a western corrupt perversion of African movies. I don't think African movies need to become more western in order for me to be interested in watching them. I love Ghollywood movies because it is different from Hollywood movies.
@pokia01 Thank you for the suggestions. I will certainly be on the look out for these movies. Also, I didn't know Jackie had lived in America, I just thought she was trying to. . . It doesn't matter what I thought, she is a great actress and I'm happy for her success in Ghana.
Don't like Ghanaian movies because they try too hard to be Western. We don't need to see them imitate us. Boring. At least Nollywood movies offer some cultural education. I love Jackie's acting, but Ghollywood needs to take some pride in their own culture. It's very sad. If I'm wrong, please suggest some movie I can watch that reflects your culture, with your names and customs.
she seen like a traditional classy African woman she wont even play a lesbian lol i want t be a actor in Nigerian and for me i would play any part just to challenge myself and my skills
Nice Interview, but I think Vickie should do her homework. Ghanaian movies have been very popular since the 1950's. The movie industry was on a hiatus for a while, the new millenium started with this influx of new actors, media houses and producers. Your interview was good, but please that comment about people not knowing Ghanaian movies before Jacke Appiah was wrong, maybe for Sierra Leonians.
@69ChocolateKisses lol funny. its all good though. its flattering cause 50% of nigerian websites and even on youtube are claiming ghanaian movies as nollywood. dont get me wrong all this ollywood crap is rediculous. sounds soooooooo dumb and im from america and ashamed of this olly crap, even bolly sounds dumb
omg i love jackies dress, it looks royalllll
