  • @eirah84 hey every 3,500 calories is a pound so if you burn 3,500 in 2 hours you lost a pound of fat i loose about 1,300 calories in a hour by walking on incline and it really tires you out but tire it, if you fat walk on incline and slowly loose the weight instead of going straight at it!!!!

  • @anthonyok Also, I've found that listening to music that evokes increased emotional responses from you -- such as your favourite dance song or heavy metal track -- tends to almost trick your mind into working alot more effeciently and productively. It also decreases the pain as some of your mind is pre-occupied with the emotional response from the songs.

  • @miketheman321 true.. i just put up some high bass loud speakers in my garage, connected it to my laptop and did my run in beat with the songs, i rekon ipods r shit for runing as they slip out lol.. Speakers FTW!.. but yeah music = motivation = fun workout ( as long as u update ur playlist)

  • The treadmill is an excellent way to lose weight through cardio, but after about a month, it honestly gets boring. I've done interval training but I always feel as if I'm running to "destination: nowhere. So instead, I just go sprinting outside my neighboorhood which stretches those hamstring muscles and aids in agility.

    The problem with walking on a treadmill is that it usually takes longer to burn the same amount of calories it would opposed to running at 7 mph. :-(

  • Running in the real world is better as the treadmill doesn't need the same ammount of forward force. However, it's a great place to start and a bit lower impact.
