they are all normal classes, i dont think it will be class specific. But i heard it too, you just have to buy it and play it :D

As much as I love that idea, I think WoW can afford to constantly update because it has a steady cash flow. If TOR relies solely on initial sales to pay off their bills, I think we're in trouble as far as patches and updates go.

Guild Wars did pretty good. But I do agree; it looks like a fun game to get back in on the Star Wars Franchise with, but I'm afraid it won't go anywhere. (I haven't touched a Star Wars game since KOTOR II)

dunno, maybe you are right. But the updates in wow not that fast and furious. They take there time for sure. But now i know that it will have monthy fee. Maybe its better, atleast better than the item shop for real cash things :D

I read in a copy of a GameInformer that this started as KOTOR 3 but then they wrote it to the movie timeline. In one of this pictures it showed Grievous cutting down clones with a red dual blade, which I thought was both cool and weird.

Then again I just saw another thing from a site saying it really is being put into the KOTOR time line. EIther way its working as a KOTOR 3 even if it doesn't follow the story, which I hope it does.

Why do people keep asking if it's free? Personally, I'd rather pay the fee and get a good game then play for free and get crap. Seriously...they're in this to make money...do you really think it's just going to be made by each person buying the game...YEAH RIGHT. If this is free, I'll be shocked. Besides, $15 dollars isn't that much to begin with. For those who keep complaining...looks like you'll have a choice to make.

I agree. And besides , the company has more money to add more content to the game , because of that 15 bucks a month. Which will keep players interested , like a couple planets every 2 months would be more than acceptable.

I consider myself a KOTOR fan , Loved the first and the second. And this game will be no exception.

I'm guessing like in 2 Years ;-), first off: The Game isn't even in an Alpha Phase! which means it is still in the making. 2nd: Once it's in the Alpha Phase it'll take a while before they put it on an closed Beta which only ppl can Play that have a Account Key. 3rd Once it's in the Open Beta it will still take more then 2 Months till they Finalize the Game...Fixing Bugs etc..Just wanna say that, Guys don't look forward in Playing the Game within the next couple of Months..cuz it won't happen ;-)

That's actually a common misconception. TOR showed in the game play video was alpha, but they never said that's where they were now. It already runs internally, and while the beta might not be out yet, I would be surprised if the game was in beta stages already - or close.

Its definitely realistic to look at playing the game in quarter 4 2009. If not then definitely quarter 1 or 2 of 2010. The game has already been in production for 3 years, which is usually as long as an mmo takes to make. AND they used HEROEngine to design the game, which is supposed to cut production time in half. BioWare is just being very secretive, we'll see the game before you think we ill.

Yes, and yes. It's an MMO (Like World of Warcraft) and as such will be with people all over the world.
