  • I LOVE this album so much.

  • Purity.

  • A personal favorite from Neil Young. Thank you for being Young at heart.

  • This album is known as a Masterpiece. I think that it is the BEST Masterpiece that I've ever known or will know.

  • nice one tom, neglected good music for years ,a much needed reminder!

  • Not bad music coming from a guy we found out likes "De Sausage" in "De Dumper". hahahaha

  • thanks for introducing me to this album

  • 52. So I listened to this "tape" on countless surf trips to Baja. Beatin down the black top and dirt roads over the last hill beautiful surf or blown out...In good times or bad the music like a backround to our lives..Loves lost and won. Funny how the lyrics may mean something to me at a younger age and different now. I would like a do over and not change anything.

  • LOL

you guys should not give up!

You are not old, you are experienced!

I am 19, and I just clicked randomly on this video (I was searching for radiohead albums).

Nowadays are still great singers and bands, not much but there are still a few good musicians. And these times we live in are.... let's just say "difficult" . but not only for you

    -.-

  • 53 yr's for me 54 soon dammit

it's a trade-off,i guess i know this record so well.

  • This amazing album was released exactly 40 years ago

I cannot imagine my life without it

  • @NicoleBenedict , Me either Nicole. This album kept my heart beating and my legs in motion and my head in tact, calm, cool and collected during a course of events that I can't even discuss with myself, but was able to control. It empowered me to be there. "love lifts us up" ! yeah for us !

  • Thanks!

  • Wow, I'm 51...hearing this whole album reminded me of when times were so much better. The 70's was such a fine time, like a fine wine.

  • Everybody should give this album as a valentines gift this year. It's its 40th anniversary!!!

It has meant a lot to me through my life since I was 16. Now I'm 36.So the last half of its life has been my very first favourite LP of all times.Never went to a trip without it.I've given it as gift to some special ones and then gone to buy it again. I think I have bought this CD at least 10 times. But I still own the first in cassette.I saw it in the store at a ridiculous price and I liked the artwork.

  • great album, for snowy days like these.... [♥]

  • i'm 55 and sometimes i feel 108, but i've always loved neil's tunes, if there's a heaven they'll be playing neil 24/7 for eternity maybe longer

  • Lot's of old rockers are 64 now. Don't waste what's left. Spread kindness.

  • Man, It would be a dream come true to see Neil Young live. Song's been around in my life as long as I can remember! "She's so fine she's in my mind" Ever lyric in this song is a good lyric. Nothin but looove from me for Neils great music.

  • what a album 1972 album of the year my first girl friend turned me on to this wow annie anderson what a flash back (winston legthigh)

  • fantastico album!!!!!!!!!!

  • Old man and The needle and the damage done best songs ever

  • Didn't realise this was all on youtube. Thank god, my mum lost my tape. This album makes me very happy and very sad. Always come back to it and it never fails to do the same thing.

  • This brings up so amny memories..

  • I do not know why, but Out On The Weekend is my biggest favorite of Neil's all production.

    Somehow he gets me weeping.

  • @papmjny

    I don't know why, but I agree.

  • @papmjny I cant explain it either. The first time I ever listened to this album (Recently, as I have just picked it up vinyl), I played it from beginning to end. The first time I heard this candles were burning, my beautiful girlfriend was sittin on my lap and I wanted to dance, sing, laugh, and weep all at once. Every positive emotion (and some negative) I had I wanted to express. This song does things to my mind that I cant even explain

these are neils 2 greatest albums.

  • this is 1970.

  • this is such a beautiful album, i remember listening to it with my dad

    i miss him so much

    R.I.P

Beinke Paul Benoit 1966-2005 i dedicate this album to you

  • this is one of neil young's weaker 70s albums and it is still incredible. so soothing!

  • Great Album; I am 64; where did my life go? If you are reading this; 64 is just over than next hill; use your life wisely.....

  • @greenhornet299 yeah, i`m 51..wisely..yes, i wasn`t wise, too often

  • You can tell that to someone of your age and it'll be too late. You can tell that to someone of my age and it'll be too early. 48 years seems like an incredibly long time to me now, but I know how fast time can fly by without you even noticing it and I can only try making the best out of these few years here on earth.

  • @greenhornet299 I just turned 66 and life is STILL BEGINNING! Years ago I was with A&M and had the pleasure of sitting in on some re-mixing with him!

  • @greenhornet299 THANK YOU AND BLESS YOUR HEART.

[I am nearly 58 and so understand what you are saying] Oh btw thanks for

your time here on earth. It made my time more valuable even though we have

never met in person. But for sure the music connects us all.

  • @greenhornet299 I'm fifty. I hear ya...

  • @greenhornet299 I tell folks with little children that they will be starting college the next day and they just grin at me with no clue what I'm tryin' to tell them...

  • @greenhornet299 good message, wisely. The only thing we take with us is love and I've made a lot of that. Got a lot of people that love me and a lot people I love, true life success.

  • @greenhornet299

Thanks for the reminder, I think the same thing sometimes...

  • @greenhornet299 why thank you, I appreciate that and I will take the advice sir. My best friend died at age 64

  • @ayethen420white Rest in peace. I mean it, I'm sorry to hear that.

  • @greenhornet299

    I can hear you...

  • @greenhornet299 59 TURNIN 60 in may

  • @greenhornet299 If ya look over your shoulder you'll see me.

I'm right on your heels. I live my life both wise and slow, to really

enjoy the short time we have.

On the other hand, we have lots of great music to listen to as

we look for more sunny days and both old and new friends.

  • @greenhornet299 It's really over the next hill for me ( I am 61) and yes this is a great album. I can relate to "Old Man"

  • @greenhornet299 wise, wise man! I'm 35 but think same as you and accept the advice!

  • @greenhornet299 AMEN !!! I am 64 as well and albume like this are an integral part of my nlood flow...

  • @greenhornet299

    it ain't over.

    - tony soprano to jr.

  • @greenhornet299 it went dont cry itll be bak by!

  • @greenhornet299 Oi! Is never too late. Never. Sounds like you have some figuring out to do. Use time you have left well, okay?

  • @greenhornet299 Yesssss....Life´s just a breathe...when I get older ,losing my hair...many years from now....when I´m 64

  • He's the real McCoy. Taught me how a song works. I saw him my first time, (after years and years of being a fan) with about 20 other people in the morning, on the Hoard tour, just sippin' his coffee and playing acoustic, (much off of Harvest, I was playing rodie to my friends band, before the public got let in) I lived in Spain, and they played him as a signal to close the bar. I like Spain, but nothing ever pissed me off so much as the "dissing" of Neil

  • genius..

  • May I recommend the book 'An Essential Guide To Music In The 1970s' by Johnny Zero. The author is a big fan of this album.

  • @garyw930 You recommended a book on 'The Doors' video too. You like books.

  • Chef d’œuvre des 70's !

    Encore un chef d’œuvre des 70's !

Encore et toujours les 70's !

  • Love Neil

  • Can't thank you enough. Neil Young is my hero.

  • Remarkable album, thank you so much!
