This is where the pseudonym Poppy Z-Brite who wrote Courtney Love's bio came from. The paper flowers were from the song "Imaginary" which I wrote and performed by Evanescence. When I met Kurt in May '83 he was on roadcrew for Def Leppard's Rock Till You Drop Tour promoting Pyromania. Def Lep had been opening for Billy Squier which ended in Seattle & Oregon in April '83

No, you're not missing anything. His first experience with heroine was in 1986, administered to him by a drug dealer in Tacoma, Washington. Courtney Love said that she and Kurt started bonding through drug use in the fall of 1991, and Kurt's heroine use turned into a full-fledged addiction around the end of 1990, so there's no chance that Courtney got him addicted to heroine. There's no real reason to blame Kurt's addictions on Courtney Love.

Dave Grohl is amazing, but without Kurt Cobain there'd be no grunge. No one but some people from Seattle would no what grunge is. Kurt Cobain is probably only second to Jimi Hendrix in musical talent. They both were amazing at guitar, they both wrote their own songs, they both sang, and they both did it all when they were stoned.

What you're probably thinking of is that she claimed to have written half of the lyrics to Pennyroyal tea, which is impossible because he wrote it on a four-track recorder while living with Dave Grohl in 1990.
