Boy, do I have an interview for ya'll! Yes, I wrote "ya'll," for this potential interviewee is in Louisiana back country. He's my grandfather (aka, 'pawpaw'), a 90 year old, clear minded, active swampman who is THE local resource for oral history, geneology, all around living off the land. His memory should be downloaded for posterity. I'll work on getting a video of him up. Keep up the amazing work...

On the day that I began videotaping my dad who has alzheimers, I found the Story Corps site. What a wonderful idea.

Watching this video is very moving. Being able to listen and preserve memories and stories for generations to come is a shared grace.
