@emmyjo720 Anna and Valeri are from completely different parts of the Soviet Union. Anna was from Russia, Valeri from what is now Kazahkstan. think about how different a New York accent is from a Kentucky one! Or a Scottish one from an English one...that may explain some of the accent difference.
