The game itself amuses me less than Angry Birds 2. The cinematic however, is worth the chunk of change.

@orangecuve I respectfully disagree. A raptor has what they call super maneuverability. It can bank and make turns at supersonic speeds. Not only that but add on the stealth capabilities and long range radar, an enormous robot sticks out like a sore thumb. A large payload of munitions doesn't matter when you've got a small quick fighter shoving a missile down your throat before you see it coming. By the way an AC can't outmaneuver a raptor, it isn't aerodynamic enough. It is entertaining though.
@luisdez81 FYI an AC is armed with missile jamming devices and anti missile munitions. And that isn't all. Trust me, a Raptor has no capability in 'shoving' anything into an AC's throat lol. I highly doubt it can even get near to an AC. Which is why I shall say it again, you haven't even played any of the AC series, yet you make comments as if you're ignorant towards it. An AC -can- outmaneuver a Raptor, not in terms of speed, but in terms of quick turns and side boosts. AC doesn't need to chase

If they had stuck to the book and made it long but not too long and put what they couldn't fit in bonus scenes that would have been fine. Otherwise they just threw the book in the blender and took what was juiciest and stuck it in the movie. Even put a bunch of terrible twists and stupidly left out important characters such as Jeod from Tierm. Those are what sealed the movies fate.
@TIGiant No. The mechs I can understand that they use huge amounts of power to fly like the phantom II. But the Apache is designed for speed, not vertical lift. The rotor s are not made for lift and most definitely have the wrong camver for the job.

and i think we can safely assume that the apaches here are developed for multirole, speedily powerful could be one of that and since this is in the middle of combat being a small target could have it's own advantages, and there're many other things we could fill the blank with
@TIGiant Even if the powerplant had the capability to take more wait, physics for an Apache's rotors would either have it at max speed, max lift, max manueverability or a lessened version of all. It was simply a poor choice by the video maker's. I personally think that a Dragonfly chopper would have been a better choice for reality and aesthetics.

Looking into future, all these are possible only if the engineer of the future realize that the mother nature is the best engineer in the universe and should be emulated and as well as improved upon. Nature already proved that bipedal creatures are most effective in mobility while not sacrificing the dexterity.
I can make a metal gear rex. aaliyah core, soldner reverse legs, sobrero arms, and holofernes head( flat hard to see.). Railgun in right hand, any small gun in left, and a jadore for right back. o-)-(

An F-22 Raptor could take an AC out no problem! Exciting as it looks( yea it looks cool) any military in the world would be retarded in building slow, resource gobbling, robot behemoths. But for entertainment purposes not bad.

It has flight capabilities without those rockets. And you don't even want me to get started on what do they pack inside these mechs.
In my honest opinion, there isn't any modern vehicle/plane/vessel capable of going against one of these o.o

@orangecuve I respectfully disagree. A raptor has what they call super maneuverability. It can bank and make turns at supersonic speeds. Not only that but add on the stealth capabilities and long range radar, an enormous robot sticks out like a sore thumb. A large payload of munitions doesn't matter when you've got a small quick fighter shoving a missile down your throat before you see it coming. By the way an AC can't outmaneuver a raptor, it isn't aerodynamic enough. It is entertaining though.

@luisdez81 FYI an AC is armed with missile jamming devices and anti missile munitions. And that isn't all. Trust me, a Raptor has no capability in 'shoving' anything into an AC's throat lol. I highly doubt it can even get near to an AC. Which is why I shall say it again, you haven't even played any of the AC series, yet you make comments as if you're ignorant towards it. An AC -can- outmaneuver a Raptor, not in terms of speed, but in terms of quick turns and side boosts. AC doesn't need to chase

@luisdez81 Ressource gobbling only if you don't find a power source for it. If you do, and ACs are huge, so it can actually be rather massive, of course you're not going to power them on fossil fuels, maybe a fusion reactor or such thing.
Not to mention an AC would snipe that F-22 out of the sky...

If they had stuck to the book and made it long but not too long and put what they couldn't fit in bonus scenes that would have been fine. Otherwise they just threw the book in the blender and took what was juiciest and stuck it in the movie. Even put a bunch of terrible twists and stupidly left out important characters such as Jeod from Tierm. Those are what sealed the movies fate.

@TIGiant No. The mechs I can understand that they use huge amounts of power to fly like the phantom II. But the Apache is designed for speed, not vertical lift. The rotor s are not made for lift and most definitely have the wrong camver for the job.

@TIGiant Even if the powerplant had the capability to take more wait, physics for an Apache's rotors would either have it at max speed, max lift, max manueverability or a lessened version of all. It was simply a poor choice by the video maker's. I personally think that a Dragonfly chopper would have been a better choice for reality and aesthetics.
