Whenever someone that put a lot of interest&effort in the model whatever the model is, dont be a smart ass and lough at whatever seems funny, like Mr. did in order to recover his model...otherwise YOU will be the asshole. • Perhaps when you put wires next to a miniature steam boiler you should insulate them. Avoid catching them on fire next time.

  • at the guy that said the only reason the electrics got wet is be cause he splashed it, im pretty sure that's what mmnissanzroadster9 was getting at.... and second guy that acted like mmnissanzroadster9 was stupid for saying the steam RC had electronics... do u think its a steam powered remote control hahaha sum ppl make me chuckle

  • And so the Wiggan fleet goes into drydock.

I looks like an electrical fire. It should be easy enough to fix. The vessel is magnificent.

  • that is one fantastic piece of craftsmanship.

  • @mmnissanzroadster9 Your retarded it's not an rc toy that you can buy a toyrus and it sais in the the title STEAM BOAT AND IT'S A BOAT btw, boats are sapost to be in water but you get the point whrite.

  • @MegaCoolshot,

Are you 6 years old, or simply illiterate?

Go back to school and learn how to spell and construct proper sentences. That was a total disgrace.

  • one awesome boat, i have a boat my grandfather built, about 10 - 20 years old, never used, only that the electric motor only works with a 12 volt car battery, makes me wonder

  • ya put water (an electric conductor) on to an R/C toy! (an object that uses electronics) btw, I'm not saying that only R/Cs are electronic, but you get the point

  • @mmnissanzroadster9 I think this one was fully steam powered, and even if there were some electronic components the detail of this boat makes me think they would be experianced enough to keep the electronic parts OUT of the areas that would get wet, in fact the only reason that area was wet was because he threw water on it, the boat is "Sea worthy" after all

  • @mmnissanzroadster9,

Electronics are easily replaced. My priority would be saving the hull of the boat.

  • @mmnissanzroadster9 The RC in this is most likely only for the rudder, reverse and throttle as for the fact you can clearly see a big fat boiler when he opens it up.

  • I would have jump in the lake to . to save my boat .. that is a lot of work that could have gone up in smoke !!

  • @hansomhughm2

    AND money!!!
