Misty is actually hard with Bulbasaur because Starmie and Staryu have high special defense, and Starmie has Psychic attacks.

Lt Surge... pretty hard with Wartortle. Or Charizard if you somehow got it yet.

Erika.. a bit hard with Wartortle/Blastoise.

Koga. Eh... just his Pokémon spamming statuses.

actually, charmanders have really low phisical attacks, and metal only have 50 power its pretty useless.....

a good flamethrower [100 power + 50% from he beigh fire tipe + more damage due to his high special atack]

Technically, there are five males Gym Leaders in the Hoenn-based games too, because Tate's a boy.
