  • do you think your wu tang sword can defeat me?

  • nice style, the thing is... where are the applications? and how do you spar with a wooden broadsword? at my school i see my sifu teaching a few students the shaolin willow leaf broadsword, but i never see them sparring?

  • @thejijjic reason because they dont want the swords to break dur... seriously their not cheap and this schools dont have money to replace every damaged and broken sword, wanna use a sword use a large knife works the same and its sharpe.

  • Saber is a Shaolin Tecnique's!!!

Wudang and the Tai Chi school only use a sword!!!

  • this is not wudang and this is not a good tournament...

championship like this in baltimore, only degree the kung fu praticer's image, cause you only need some bucket's to participe!!!

    I Disagree!!!

  • @lucasbdb wtf, what are you smoking? you never even been to the tournament before, eat a dick.

  • it's a sabre, and it's shaolin style...

  • dayum dimviesel talks alot of shit -_-

  • The "teacher" at this school did not learn from Grandmaster Liu but rather from Chang Lin Chen, who was Grandmaster Liu's disciple. The"teacher" at this Queens location is not a disciple of Wutan nor is he recognized by any of the Wu Generation masters of Liu Yuen Chiao.

  • @aduysbv Well their were alot of styles in china before the culture revolution so i guess alot of unknown arts survived, whose to say it aint real. if it works use it.

  • The master who started the school was trained in Taiwan. His master Liu Yun Chao was trained in China by Li Shu Wen.

And if you're an actual master I feel bad for your students who aren't aware that their teacher lives for talking shit on the internet.

And Wu-Tang existed way before the rap group, our school specifically was opened in the late '80s.

I googled the address I posted and the first thing that came up was "N Y Wu Tang Chinese Martial Arts Center". Come by anytime.

  • @ElCoun7 respect

  • true masters teach martial arts to the unfortunate and incompetent. not to the highest bidder. shihan hatsumi sensei(all do respect)trains students to be ninja for about $1000 a year. but dont u have to be "japanese" to be a TRUE ninja? c'mon people. masters have mortgage payments and bills just like we do. dont believe the hype

  • no disrepect to M.A. organizations worldwide. truth is there are some REAL schools out there. but they are extremely hard to find. most real masters are bound to contracts by the military (in there own country) if they are really that good. its just too easy to 1:become a "master" 2:open up a school,3:claim the style is authentic and claim to hold no secrets back,4:sell a new style that u claim to have mastered when u really havent. i had my own school for 10yrs. and im a master so i know

  • martial arts is a billion dollar industry now. a good "sifu" can make about 50,000 a year or more if he has good customer service. its way too easy to falsify qualifications and claim to be the best. how can u be sure that u have an accurate "master"...u truly cant. unless u live in the country where your style originated. and u better be a citizen of that country too. it should only be for exercise, nothing more. foreign masters are nothing more than "personal trainers".

  • i notice that every master i come across from every style is opening up "mma gyms". they get their purple belt in brazilian jiu-jitsu and theyre off. making lost of money from fighters wanting to do mma. whatever is popular at the moment thats what they now know. wutang became popular after the kungfu movies and the wutang clan. now we have hordes of brilliant swordsmen? c'mon now. it would be one thing if u could train in china. but the trips for the students only last a week dont they?

  • sifu shi-yan-ming is the ONLY person in new york state that can trace his training back to the birthplace of martial arts. martial arts is big business now. its really easy to take a china vacation and come back claiming to know it all. u cant verify it becuz the temples in china are very exclusive. dont be fooled people. if china's secrets were really revealed they wouldnt be as strong as they are now. look how much trouble bruce lee got into just for teaching?

  • its not even traditional wu-dang uniform. their was only shaolin,wudang,wa-shan,and ume(the female monks). these 4 sword styles have been under constant attack by false masters. they go to china for a week, and come back to their country with pics and claim to have trained with the best. its an easy gimmick. do u really think that a country as powerful as china would let the REAL secrets be leaked?

  • it is shaolin broadsword. the wudang temple students ONLY used the straight double-edged blade.(as far as swords go)like the one on crouching tiger. there are a lot of false masters that claim to have gone to henan and trained "wutang style" ever since the rap group made it big. beware of false prophets!

  • Shaolin and the wu tang sword style! When properly used it is almost invinceble!!

  • shaolin broadsword. u should be castrated for calling it wu dang. there is only one true school in the u.s. it is the wudang academy in new york city.

  • I'd love to be castrated, that's always been my dream. Your welcome to do it actually.

  • flushing...Shi Goulins school?

  • Nah Master Ma Long

  • yeah right. i checked that adress, its some lady named marisol living there. i'll just come to ur crappy lil martial arts school and make an example outta u in front of ur sifu.how about that adress huh?

  • of course it shaolin, cant u see the techniques he uses, and well i am shaolin, and even though i never learned taht i clearly recognize the moves

  • A single saber is a type of sword, and you must be kidding if you think that's Shaolin, I am at a Wu Tang Kung Fu school and that is my master.

  • its pronounced wu dang

  • Wu Dang is something else, it's really pronounced "ooo tan"

  • oops, sorry. i didnt know. what is wu tang? i have never heard of it. that is the reason for my ignorance.

  • no, it's not, and it's pronounced "ooo dang"...

  • Thats Shaolin not Wu tang, and that is signle saber technique.
