  • HELP!!!

  • Yea he did shift his right just a bit but if he could have kept it there it would be a clean shot though i pretty sure he can do it just made a little shift and refs prob wouldn't have notices its real small only seen in close replay.

  • damm he traveled tho... it was nice but if ur anal about that shit look at his right foot before the fake and then after

  • @qpraulitoqp It's called a pivot foot...that wasn't a travel at all.

  • @6115flea HE LIFTED HIS PIVOT FOOT

  • @qpraulitoqp Upon further review...you're right. Sorry.

  • you gotta learn from the best young fella

  • people that doesn't see kobe sliding his right foot on this up & under move has got to have the exact same vision as a blind guy.. seriously...

  • this is actually good for KD... he is young and he needs to learn from the best...Kobe learned a lot from Jordan back in the days

  • best part of the video = adam morrison

  • It's been 2 days since the start of my epic journey. I have lost all of my water supply and food is running low. I have yet to find pingtv's comment.

  • is that an up and under move? cause i do that a lot in nba 2k12

  • nope he didnt travel, hw wuld have if he lift off his right foot after this planted his left for the layup

  • @aykp7823 you are a fucking retard. just stating the obvious

  • @jonvegard31 ur mum is whore. ur dad is a gay pedo..tats fact for u and god blast u. hows that for a laugh.. merry xmas to u.. in hell..

  • @aykp7823 well, now i'm really hurt. come on, if you're going to insult me, use proper english, or else you're just proving my point even more

  • @jonvegard31 opsssss..forgot u r a retard shit. cant help wif wat ur whore mum gave 2 u for brains.

  • @aykp7823 first off, you've never known if i am a retard or not, i haven't done anything to make you think that. on the other hand, you....i'm not going to call you a retard, just reeeaaally stupid

  • nice move by kobe! I m usually not fan of his... : )

  • How did he travel stop hating !

  • it was nice but he travel

  • @agon1kb24bm You gotta be kidding.

  • @agon1kb24bm that wasnt a travel kid, bcz he didnt move his pivot.

  • @agon1kb24bm he didnt switch pivots

  • fuck westbrook fuck thunder fuck durant!!!!!!

  • this ain't a travel he does it all the time and the refs don't call it..

  • travel or not

    IMO: no travel

ref didnt call travel, so its not a travel

    case closed

    the end.

  • Moves like that is what makes his career last and keeps him in top 3

  • only boston all star player would dislike this video..

  • at least durant was taught by that school.

  • kobe is best when it comes to footwork

  • No help for you there kev against the mambas strike its too fast

  • yes you use your feet in basketball kevin...

  • kobe showing kevin durant that there is still another level to reach there

  • it is a travel, but it's hard to call in real time. Kobe takes advantage of these types of "loopholes" really well

  • @pingtv naw ur jsut a fucking moron

  • @pingtv errh you can lift off your pivot foot to shoot or pass, no travel :/

  • @pingtv i dont know if you know this but you are allowed to do that, its only considered a travel when the pivot foot is lifted and the other foot is placed down, but here however both feet came up to do a layup, which is completely legal =) just wanted to let you know

  • @BengalTigerSigma it's not the layup. he shuffled the pivot beforehand

  • @BengalTigerSigma kobe picks up the dribble, establishes his right foot as pivot b/c he pivoted his left foot over. Then he switches pivot.

  • @pingtv uh in the slow motion i thought he establishes his left foot as the pivot, i do this move everytime and i never get called for a travel, i do this in plane sight, sometimes even in front of the ref, oh well =)

  • i watched "Jordan school Kobe" before this one. I am just amazed how the most skilled players in the world teaches moves to the new stars.

  • which one is the pivot he picked up both?

  • Up and UNDAAAAA :))))

  • so most of you agree it's not a travel?? good!! cause i've done the same thing a whole bunch of times and this one guy who thinks he knows ALL the rules says it's a travel. then everyone else just agrees to everything he says. it BS.

  • That was a nice post move.

  • he jumped when he lifted his pivot foot.

Not a travel. please people, actually watch/ play basketball before you comment

It makes our lives a lot less frustrating

  • @UzumakiUchiha23 It actually is a travel, if you look closely he slid his pivot foot. You can argue whether or not his pivot foot went off the ground first or not but he clearly slid his pivot food so it is a travel.

  • @ELFERNANDO17 LOL not very clear to see, seeing as everyone who commented on this video or the refs at the playoffs when this clip was taken couldn't see it.

  • @ELFERNANDO17 this guy is right technically technically speaking he slid his foot but no ones ever gonna see that so practically its not a travel theres just too much else going on no one is also going to see that little slide because thats actually a basic fundamental move

  • @nevermoonawolf actually fuck that its not a travel at all the foot he moved first was never his pivot foot he just took 2 steps to the basket yea definitely not a travel my bad

  • @nevermoonawolf never mind fuck it is a travel, dam kobe bryants illusions he did establish that as his pivot foot

  • @nevermoonawolf but its not detectable its such a small movement with so much goin on sooo...im done here

  • thats not travel lol

  • its not a travel... he gets close to losing ground on his pivot foot but not quite

  • To all people saying this is travelling, only LEBRON can travel!

  • Lol. Anyone calling traveling here is just too amazed to think what Kobe did is possible. It's actually just excellent fundamental ball. Study it because this is how it's done.

  • he got that move right outta MJ's playbook

    STILL EPIC

  • not a travel retards..please only comment if you KNOW how to play ball,

so sick of these random retards calling travel when they dont know shit about basketball..

  • travel

  • @raymundveloz you probably don't play basketball

  • i wish kobe could do more of these...easier points...but his fadeaway jumpers are the stuffs that impress me the most...

  • it looked like he moved his pivot foot

  • Is that another "Dr. J" move, Kobe? Definitely not Jordan, right? ahaha, fraud!!!!

  • LeBron didnt like this vid

  • b ready for more of this. kobe will clown trust! 2012! who im wit? im wit kobe. what i want? /2 least 2 more trophies!!!!!!!

  • kevin mchale!

  • You guys just bitchin about it being a travel makes no difference.

  • another MJ's imitated movement !!!

  • @FolkloreHymn the refs allow you to slide a little when initially gathering the ball, but kobes pivot is clearly set in one spot, and then clearly moves a few inches and sets itself again right before he dives

  • @FolkloreHymn no because it slides after he already pivots on that foot and pump fakes. slide is illegal. uncalled alot, yeah, especially on spins, but sill illegal.

  • lol the only reason you can tell it was a travel was through the slow mo, without it you cant tell.

  • he jump with 2 feet instead of non-pivot feet so it's alright no travel

  • @FolkloreHymn When he first plants his right foot as his pivot at 0:08, its on the left of that yellow line in the key perpindicular to the free throw line. then somehow it gets to the right of that line at 0:10 before he dives into the lane. travel

  • @FolkloreHymn 1st replay, pause where he releases pivot, the ball still in hand, wtf is espn, no one givs a fuck about espn, because a stupid sports station doesnt mention obvious details in sports games, that mean they dont exist......rofl

p.s. u might wana pause around 0:11, its so obvious its killing me that u people cant see it

  • @FolkloreHymn u dont know what a pivot foot is

  • you think kobe traveled? go look at your man lebron.

  • that wasnt a travel and im a lebron fan but thats obviously not a travel

  • helpppppp

  • if you say travel, i say go learn how to play basketball.

  • @Soundamite THAT'S A FUCKING TRAVEL! his right foot is his pivot foot, he picks it up, then uses his left. learn how to play basketball, you fucking tool. there's no point in arguing this, you know i'm right

  • @jonvegard31 His right foot is not his pivot foot u fucking cunt. (cant understand normal thinking)

  • @450rable how the hell is it not? please do tell. he picks up the ball, moves the left(establishing his pivot foot with the right), then moves the right slightly towards the basket, then moves the left again. pleeaase explain wise sir

  • @jonvegard31 Now that ive watched it again his right foot is the pivot but he never picks it up. Maybe a slide but that is ok.

  • @450rable by the rules it really isn't, but the stars get away with it all the time- but if people don't call this a travel they can't say lebron travels. i've seen kobe do this a hundred times

  • @jonvegard31 erm no. He plants his left when stepping through but at that moment he didnt move his right foot so right is still his pivot foot and then he lifts off the left. No travel.

  • Released pivot foot before letting go of the ball, travel

  • @habibygun

HE JUMPED. Your allowed to jump off one foot in the NBA. regardless of what foot you release off of after picking up the dribble.

Had he not jumped, it would have been a travel.

  • @UzumakiUchiha23 HE RELAESED IT BEFORE HE JUMPED!! the nba has hypnotized people into thinking obvious fucking travels are perfectly okay, if the nba called these as travels (as they should) then you wouldnt be saying that

  • 0:09 Look at where he establishes his pivot and where his toes are.

0:10/11 Look at where he's moved his foot to after the pump fake. His foot goes from outside of the interior box to inside of it..

That's a travel. The rules are simply lax in some areas. That's rarely called because it's so common and would impact the fluidity of the game, but not being called doesn't mean it didn't happen.

  • damn hes footwork is just....is just to good

  • if you look close lebron traveled

  • Perfect use of the pivot foot.

  • as far as he jumps from 2 feet simultaneously that is not a travel

  • if you think thats traveling then you dont play basketball

  • @kansasfan17

Realistically, that is a travel. His pivot foot CLEARLY moved in the replay. His right foot went from outside of the interior box to inside of it without dribbling. Regardless of how much basketball you play, that's travelling. Of course, at game speed, it's near impossible to see that type of movement. Besides small things like that are generally over-looked. Not to mention, he's Kobe Bryant, so when he makes a technical move, people assume that it's by the book.

  • @vincentrich Realistically, it is still not a travel you need to look closer... his pivot foot didnt come off the ground it just turned so thats not a travel. im pretty the best basketball player in the world would do moves by the book... thats what makes him the best

  • @kansasfan17

Your foot doesn't need to "come off the ground" for travelling to occur. His pivot clearly moved. There's no way that anyone can debate that. Sliding your foot several inches forward with a dead dribble is travelling. You're either in denial or just oblivious to the rules.

"I'm pretty (sure) the best basketball player in the world would do moves by the book...."

That type of sheepish thinking is what I referred to in my first comment. Thanks for the rock-solid support.

  • @vincentrich i get it, you don't play basketball so you wouldn't understand. Go read the rule book it might help you out

  • @kansasfan17 he re-established his pivot foot. That's a clear travel. Go read the rule book it might help you out

  • @KoylProductions actually, its hard to see, but he dribbled when he reestablished his pivot foot so it went from pass ->back to basket -> dribble/post up -> fake -> lay it in

  • @vincentrich he rotated the foot. totally legal.

It's not like he slid the foot over or picked it up.

  • @kansasfan17 TRUE THAT BROTHER!

LeCHoke travels from the second he starts to the finish.

  • @kansasfan17 its a travel. look closely at pivot foot

  • @kansasfan17 actually i do and its technically a travel as u can clearly see at 0:08 when he moves his pivot foot (the right foot) so if you dont think thats traveling then you're clearly blinded by kobes nut sack dangling over your face

  • @drunknchink youre FUKING RETARDED

  • @8MunchenBayern8 U MAD BRO? CAUSE U CAN FINALLY SEE THE TRUTH OR CAUSE KOBES NUT SACK ISNT DANGLING OVER YOUR FACE ANYMORE?

  • @drunknchink that didnt make any sense hahah you really are retarded

  • @kansasfan17 STILL MAD CAUSE U KNOW KOBE TECHNICALLY TRAVELED?

  • @drunknchink woah another person that doesnt know what they are talking about you guys are everywhere

  • @kansasfan17 why would i be mad about you being stupid? you being stupid is your problem, not mine haha

  • @kansasfan17 this is travelling. lifting your pivot foot is fine but once it touches the court, its travelling. in this play kobe lifts and steps on his pivot. he just got lucky on this one.

  • @paulgutib no, your dumb

  • @paulgutib you don't play basketball either

  • @hangjaiiiii lebron dickrider?

  • Flip I love this move

  • @baino320 ur gay

  • @baino320 ahahahahahahahhahah

  • @baino320 cause durant isnt the youngest scoring leader in nba history or anything....who cares if he's young he got owned

  • that was sexy!
