"Popping in and out of existence" Minor face palm worthy only in the way he described it, because I know big fans of Sliders and Stargate Atlantis are going to be watching and imagining energy from nothing just popping into existence here, missing the point that what we see as empty space is blanketed with energy sufficient for quantum particles to form with some frequency (which itself requires a careful and detailed explanation of mass energy equivalency for some people).

I was having a debate with an ex you tube friend who makes vids I was into a long time ago, you know the "7 chakra life is eternal, the universe is alive with love" kind of videos, and I was telling him that I no longer go in for that kind of thinking anymore. So he said "what so everything came from nothing then?". So I linked him to this video, he returned PISSED!, he said "see how you atheists all laugh at the thought of it being the worst possible universe". I had to lol all over again.
