Poor kitty. yeah, those things are noisy all right! I wouldn't mind having some chickens (hens only) to control the bugs, but I don't think I could tolerate the noise those Guinea make.

Man, we use to raise them when I was little. You always knew when one got out of the pen because you would hear it sound like this, but on superspeed as the dog would chase it. Luckily, she rarely caught them. They were cute at first, but they did get very annoying.

oh god.. we have about 10 of those running around my neighborhood.. theyre so annoying :\ but they make my cat do the same thing lol!

In addition to being good for keeping down the bugs (ticks especially) they are also good watch dogs. They will sound the alarm if animals, cars and people they dont know come near by.

My old neighbor had about 20 of those. Great bug control, but the racket they make.......
