@Allronix. Why did your friends not have insurance? At under age 35, they could have purchased a decent policy for a little over $100 a month. Whose fault is it that they chose not to have insurance? I bet if I looked at their budget, I could find where they could have afforded coverage. Health care is a product that is purchased. If you can afford better care, then you should be able to get it. Just like having better food or housing. Health care is not a right.
@Allronix... Do you expect to have the same level of housing, food and other necessities of life as those who make more? We have safety nets for the poor and there is always charity. But why should I be forced to stand in line when I could afford to have better service. When you sell your home and car to give to the poor, then you may have some creditability.
@Diverbelo When it's your friend you bury, come talk to me. (2 friends dead, before 35, because they could not afford preventative care, despite working full time jobs - just ones with no insurance) And the safety nets are being gutted, the numbers do not add up. We pay more and get less. And why does your money give you the right to boss others around and get you to the front of the line over someone sicker? It's called triage.
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice (where's the justice in letting people die?)...,provide for the common defence (how can a sick population defend the country?), promote the general Welfare (health care counts as "general welfare," I'd think), and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity (why are we indentured to these HMO rackets?), do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
After working in a hospital for a few years, I've learned that hospitals mostly just make you a bit more comfortable while your body repairs the damage that you did to yourself. Sure, there are exceptions, but most health problems are self inflicted. Insurance won't fix you, the government won't fix you, being a millionaire won't fix you either. It will be you vs yourself.
That was so funny about the $5000 deductible part.. Why didn't the patient buy a lower deductible? Hmmm. Maybe because he was too cheap. You have a choice to buy a low or high deductible in all insurance, health, auto, home. It's called being responsible.
@4clubs4 Actually its not really soccer. The real name for the sport is 'Football.' Only us arrogant Americans call it soccer. Ask any English man, and they'll tell you the true meaning of the sport.
Yep this video was made for those that dont have a clue. Appearently there is a majority of people that dont have a clue!!
The sad thing is that they are great at complaining but tend to do little to find out about using health care or thier insurance coverage. Most of them know more about how their beloved car runs!
And so many people with health insurance still think they're "covered." Medicare is even worse, so until we fight the industry, forcing our Congress people to represent us and not the drug and insurance cartels, it will only get worse. Single-payer universal health care NOW--make it known.
You mean a system where the non-producers can force the producers of wealth to pay for more entitalments. Personally, if I make a ton of money, I expect to get homes, cars, and yes, better health care than those who pop out baby after baby they can't afford.
@Diverbelo Translation: "It's all about ME! Screw my neighbor, my neighbor's neighbor, anyone making less than ME, and that anyone other than ME is unworthy of life or health. If it inconveniences ME in the slightest, it's evil socialism."

Work isn't always the answer. Many people have a job, but what I think should happen is that more places of work should offer health benefits.
You know this country was in the worst recession since the 1930's.
So if you want to run your mouth, I suggest you do it somewhere else cos I've 5 times your senior and five times your intellect.
I'm gonna help the people who can't afford healthcare, but I won't help greedy asses like yoursewlf. Go watch your Plasma TV, asshole.
