  • YAY! MY FAV SISTERS CLIP!

  • i love the sisters so much dudes

  • 4 guys are not sitting in a jeep :D

  • @eggkorki lol, u mad?

  • @eggkorki you prefer lil wayne ?

  • I got passed by six jerks in a Jeep today. Then they went bumpin and jumpin along, straight into a ditch that is.

  • Patty Andrews is a hottie!

  • Forgot this Song was the andrew sisters Thanks for posting this

  • I watched this way back in high school and the title stuck. When I needed an email address I tried it, it worked and I'm keeping it! Love the song, love the sisters!

  • @9148guy--I didn't miss your point. Again, not to take anything away from the past performers (I remember watching the Bob Hope specials when I was a little girl) but I know for a fact that Toby Keith, Gary Sinese, Trace Atkins, Kid Rock, Robin Williams and quite a few other entertainers "...put themselves right on the frontline." The few I have named (I don't have the list of everyone) have been on the frontline in Iraq, Afghanistan and wherever they are asked to perform.

  • @avonlady93 Denzel Washington!

  • this should have def been included in Mafia 2!

  • They were unique in their era... leave them there. You can't take people out of their time. If they'd been around today they'd never been picked up because they wouldn't have been considered sexy enough. Expose comes pretty close.. but they only had a few hits.

  • @mrFalconlem Are you some sort of "BabyBoomer" or what? They were great then and would be great now. Its called appreciation for how they made the troops feel and they were sincere! Not every guy in the service is a boob hound or a skirt chaser, most just like real entertainment from where ever it comes from!

  • @9148guy I agree with your comment but I am a Baby Boomer (on the tail end). Please don't put us all in the same boat (jeep? LOL) as mrFalconlem. :X

  • Are there any entertainers today who gave their all for the troops like these Lady's, I think not. Oh so sad, I miss Bob Hope also!

  • @9148guy - not to take away from the great folks of the 40's, but there certainly are a lot of entertainers today that work with the USO to show their support for our troops. You might want to take a look at the USO site ( USO dot org). You'd be pleasantly surprised. I know that Toby Keith, Kid Rock, Robin Williams, just to name a few. do at least one tour a year for the troops. Unfortunately, the networks don't think that showing these tours would bring in the bucks so they don't bother.

  • @avonlady93 Dear Avonlady93, you missed my point, both during WWII, Korea and Vietnam, entertainers of the sisters ilk put themselves right up on the line of fire. I mean they did their stuff right at the front lines, sometimes during bombing raids and other assaults. I know, when Bob Hope came to Vietnam, we had to worry about incoming mortors and sometimes sniper shots. I won't take away from the current entertainers doing shows, but few of them are done right at the front lines. God love em'

  • Love that scatting part!!!!

  • PEEP PEEP!!!!!! PEEPPP

  • make people support the war?

  • The Andrews Sisters are fantastic! They have such a unique, fun sound, and never fail to put a smile on your face. I could listen to them all day!

  • Oh look entertainers singing for their country instead of tearing it down...god i was born in the wrong time. If I do say so myself I would have looked fabu in one of those WAC's skirts.

  • Even a sub-par ditty like this one is enjoyable from th A Sisters.

  • Granted that it isn't one of their best, but it was probably war time and the propoganda followed.

  • They don't make stuff like this anymore. Know why? Safety belts are compulsory for all passengers now.

  • yo this vid is available to extract on that site mp4ify as mp3 or mp4 files - google mp4ify

  • HILARIOUS!!!

  • What did the Andrews Sisters do in order to get stuck with those dorks?

  • Well it was war time entertainment.

  • The Andrew Sisters were very good to be sure. I must say that the Boswell Sisters who preceded them were very talented in their own right.

  • creep

  • This is from the film Private Buckaroo. I've always thought this song is one of their best numbers. The lyrics are amazing, as are the harmonies. The girl vocal groups of today are not in the same league. Neither are the lyric writers.

  • i loved when they sung with bing!

  • indeed man, this is unique. Their parents had billion dollar gene mixture :)

  • There's no one to touch them today.

Sorry, Destiny's Child anyone, how bout Girls Aloud, oh please.

These girls were the original Spice Girls and don't let anyone tell you any different.

The fact that they are true Sisters means a lot.

The fact that they could also sing and in tune, is an added bonus and you can hear the words - hurrah!

Don't get me started on the Beverly Sisters. British yes, good - NO! It's the Andrews all the way.

    Thank you.

  • The Spice Girls didn't have this kind of charisma!

  • Its because that they're hot.

The ANDREWS SISTERS had talent and charisma and they knew how to communicate with their audience.

I like the Spice Girls but the Andrews Sisters are just so FREAKIN' AWESOME!!!

    :P

  • You're so right!

  • No Digital trickery, no state of the art recording techniques... Just pure, raw, fabulous talent.

Thos harmonies are just mind boggling, and to date have never been equalled, let alone bettered.

Patty's voice ranks amongst the best I've ever heard.. and I've heard a few!

  • The Andrews Sisters were the best, and Patty was just amazing. Between 1937 and 1947 they were untouchable.
