@Simdiane Actually, this was a song from their " Sans Rancunes" ( no hard feelings) collaboration album. System Band was already established for a couple of years when they made the record. Freres Dejean had their regular singer, but this effort was something special for the fans of the original Freres Dejean. That said, the songs from that brief reunion could be played by either band.
Haitian Jazz indeed! Too good to "crossover", which is why I love it. To think this was playin' in all Tap Taps around the country. what a sophisticated people we are. Too bad we dont know it.
I have a copy of this live rendition. Mine, however, is slowed down a notch or two, which makes for a mellower groove.

@juicearibe this is indeed a song by Les Freres Dejean.....Douby was the lead singer before going to System Band back then.
