Very funny. Twobit is correct, the Katana was primarily used by Samurai the Ninja sword is was the Ninjatō 忍者刀 which was short and of poorer craftsmanship. It was sometimes also referred to as Ninjaken 忍者剣 or a Shinobi Katana 忍刀 - Just in case any viewers really wanted to know :)
