I finished this anime about a week ago. Movie, OVA's and all. Man it was awesome, I'm almost sorry to have finished it. <3 Belldandy is a good inspiration. If everyone could be like her the world would be less full of hate. ( I doubt you'd want to sing to your food while you were cooking it, though.) =D

Its interesting that they mixed up a bit of christianity, old nordic believes and the imaginations of modern techniques in this anime. More interesting it is that the 3 "angels" got the names Urd, Belldandy (Verdandi originally) and Skuld, wich means Past, Present and Future ... great anime, even it is a bit too sentimental.

I just finished watching the entire two seasons this evening and I am happy and sad. Happy at the content, sad that its over. I hate it when you fall in love with a group of characters and their story comes to a close and you can't pry into their live any deeper. I agree with there needing to be a 3rd season ASAP!

In all honestly, I felt the art style, the stories, the character development... all of them were better in the 90s than in the 2000s. I don't care if it was less polished, I still want my old "OMG!" back!

from wha i can tell there is no season 3; there might be cause the manga is sill ongoing but i havn't been able to find it and it might just be in production; not sure. There are several ova's that i need to finish watching and are really good an there is a movie; i could only find the movie in english dub (and his dub sucks!!!) but the movie is well worh listening to horrible dubs; i mean i'd listen to the wors dubs to see this movie and there is a manga that is still ongoing so there is plenty

i don't hate english dub but i couldn't stand english dub for Ah! my goddess but i loved this anime so much i forced myself to watch the movie despite it only being in english dub and i soon found that i loved this series enough to overcome bad english voice acting :D but as a note NOT all of english dubing is bad...just depends if the dubbers actually put effort into getting good voice actors and match them with the right people...but ya the movie is definantly worth sitting through bad dubbing

i prefer subbed anime than dubbed ones too.. you can tell the difference of the intensity of emotions.. this is only me, but i think you will feel awkward listening to dubbed english if you got used to the original seiyu..
