  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, I thought this was a joke, Swedish Fugal Opera is real??!!

  • @TheLanalou So did I.

  • i bet when ABBA had finished and had bowed to HRH the world of music must have felt `WOW!!`. The sight of the costumes make this my favorutie video to watch, everyone is happy and `Dancing Queen` is ABBA's best and was ultimately the height of their musical career in 1978 in my opinion.

  • Fun!

  • I can only imagine the crowd that this drew.

  • 3:50 Who are they? Looks like men of great importance.

  • Me gusta como cantan y en este vídeo como visten.

I like how they sing and their clothes.

  • Imagine, i was an abba-fan and a fourteen year old girl at that time. I couldnt believe my eyes back then when i saw this on tv.

  • This is a wonderful video, it's almost like a fairy tale, one with the most talented singers / song writers ever...Look at Bjorn at 3:15...that's what it looks like when someone hits that 'Musicians-high"...Fantastic!

  • i see that only on person don't like an exclusivity in the story from one of the greatest sweden group like ABBA. he'll or she'll never find such a video from two others groups of sweden like Europe or Ace of base

  • that's really a collector video. may I share this with others fans?

  • I'm a little drunk, its 05.09am, I should have been in bed AGES ago, I love ABBA, and if I were lucky to get married, I'd love this song played at my Wedding Party, I'd be dancing on the dance floor, this song would be dedicated to my new wife and all eyes would be on her, on me, on us....I can dream.....I doubt it will ever happen...

  • @TheMasterNo6 gotta ask bra...im drunk as always...sent this vid to the girl i wanted to marry recently while drunk....ridiculous...havent seen her in years....but i still hammer out reasonable broads once in a while...you seem too depressed...whats the story we all want to hear...

  • @TheCaptainmarmalade Guess it was too much wine, not going to bed when I should have and thinking too much about things I usually try and not think of mate. I was a bit too depressed at the time of posting that comment and thinking about my life. But thank you for asking. ;)

  • I recall reading that Anni Frida later married a Count?

  • @Tedisntakidanymore A German prince, to be exact. They live in a castle in south Sweden

  • Hats off to the Dancing Queen.

  • Fabulous!

  • Is that Prince Bertil and Lilian behind the King?

  • queen silvia looks so beautiful in this video

  • Ja,hur bra kan det bli?

    THE BEST

  • omg they smile when they sing :D

  • This wasn't live?

  • Abba in HD! Oh yeah, perfect!

  • Charles the XII's gotta be rolling over in his grave!

    -

This had to be a Zenith for them!

  • The Queen is so fake, so artificial, so unemotional... like all Queens. They have to live up to their positions in society and act detatched from everyone... so false

  • What a beautiful way to welcome such a beautiful queen!

  • I would love to watch the whole program of that evening

  • these women can sing. This song calms me down.

  • QUE PENA QUE ELES SE SEPARARAM,NÃO A BANDA OS CASAIS.

  • One of the best songs ever. And to think Benny and Bjorn never did write down their musical notation for any of their songs.

  • this is real music i wished i lived in that time our music now vey bad

  • to all the nice men

  • Classic!

    Epic!

I love how they bow at the end of the song.

so regal and yet so nice. :)

  • Just a wonderful enchanting performance by all concerned.

  • Love this video!!

  • i was in grade school at that time i and now im 39 im happy to watch this video pretty cool i luv it!!!!!

  • how many get to sing for their king and future queen . i remember seeing this in australia

  • It was first sung live in Australia on March 10, 1976.

  • Från den tidigare bröllopskonserten 1976!

  • ahahahahahaha! this gayer than a room full of trannies singing the same song.

  • @erosion81 this is gay? Depends on perspective.I see nothing but a female thing here. And I'm straight. Apparently your perspective is different: )) Frida and Agnetha are so lovely in this costumes. The whole performance was so impressive and colorful. The song itself are the masterpiece of music art.You want more?

  • This wasn't live, was it? :P

  • @SofiaAlskarOlaSalo

    it was live

  • This is the Best version of this song i have heard in so long - Your Royal family are lovely - Love from Ireland xxx xxx xxx

  • i can dig it, only cuz ur tres cute

  • Wonderful like 4 stars in the sky...

Thank you for your upload in HD.

    Greetings from France

  • Were they not bloody wonderful? When you compare this to the garbage of today .....

  • I was there in 1976, It was on of the finest concerts I have seen. Awsome performance by ABBA. I was able to get pictures of me with them.

  • holy shit man, you're pretty old then...

  • I was 17, at the time.

  • A friend who saw this on tele back in '76, said this was the first time Abba sung this song live - so no one had heard it before -and many of our countrymen (Sweden) thought it was written specifically for the new queen :)

  • thanks for the great info

  • @fallgropen I'm afraid this was not recorded live, as often with Abba "live" !!!

  • ABBA was the Elvis maximo.Mas q, but q q The Beatles.mas all because they came all the people of all ages, so after 30 years remains a icono.Por something sold more records than all was nombrados.ABBA above a stage magic, with Frida strength and gentleness and tone of voice Agnetha.Gracias ABBA at all times, we did pasar.Un q greeting from Argentina

  • right

    eles

  • Haha love those guys at 3:49 Class act

  • yes

  • @fallgropen Yeah! Who are they? They look like paintings that moves ^^

  • @anden191 The man in the middle is playing Gustav III of Sweden, one of our conuntry's most famous monarchs. He was king in the late 18th century and loved theater. The other two I'm not sure. I was born in 1983 so this was before my time.

  • @fallgropen Yes, especially the one in the middle - He really looks the part.

  • @YoureGuilty Yeah, my guess is he is playing Gustav III (the king of Sweden who was famoulsy shot at a ball in 1792)

  • This is one of my most favourite videos. Actually the royal family was very surprised and laughed in their booth when they saw Agnetha and Anni-Frid in costums walking up to the stage. But that scene was not included in any video. I only saw that on a Anni-Frid interview. The outcome was awesome and the royal family seemed very happy about it.

  • thanks

  • What a beautiful and totally fetching upload. Glad I found it.

    Thank you very much.

  • 5 Stars Dahlin'! I love Abba too! Have you seen the musical MOMMA MIA? It's shot on one of the most beautiful islands in Greece & the music is all by Abba! I love Meryl Streep & Pierce Bronsan too. Pierce ain't much of a singer, but delicious eye candy none-the less. I thought about Bazhe. I miss you. How are you Dahlin? Where you taking me next? I know why you love Greece so much such breaktakingly beautiful blue water & islands.
