the best thing to use is a pair of overalls/coveralls or even a old hoodie and trousers (pants) and put a fishing net across the back and front of it all and then tie bits of burlap sack or yarn to the fishing net.... (also make sure you dye the burlap or yarn first obviously)

This is a ghillie blanket, not a suit. And of course it may work if it acctually breaks up the human proportions. An ordinary OD blanket would work too, just be in the right place where it can blend in somewhat and don't move around.

thats actually not bad, some advice tho #1 a rug or blanket is going to get pretty hot, so try a fishing net or a volley-ball net with the lining cut off and sew it around a camo shirt or jacket. (you can get jute string and tie it all over the net. #2 your going to want a ghillie suit that allows you to change position and still cover you. horrible ghillie suit. this will get you spotted in no time. not nearly enough coverage and this will just fall off of you if you stand up too quickly to change positions or something. try sewing on some netting to a pair of BDU's (jacket and pants) then looping some burlap that has been dyed to match the surroundings. do the same with a Boonie hat for head/face coverage.This will serve your ghillie needs much better. :)

Nice try, honestly, but it does not have enough coverage. You need more string on the suit....it kinda looks like a blanket with some strings tied on. No offense, honestly, it was a good try and I applaud you for taking the time to make this. But if you ever try again, I recommend using a net and tying jute onto it. If you need a net, just buy jute twine and then look up on youtube how to make a gill net...make one...and tie jute to it. Very easy to make your netting that way.

i know the easiest way get a dark green hoody which is 1-2 sizes to big for you get the same color trousers once again to big for you make sure they are green or tan what ever season ur in green summer tan autumn whitish for winter also it helps if its got a pattern then you lace them with nail glue roll around in where you will hide you do it where you will hide to match your surroundings then you do the same thing sevral times ad some fibers maby some moss and your done very cheap under 10$ :)

I know an easier way u get a hoodie and pants both green you go to pet stores they have this hessian stuff, dye it green brown marone etc. Sew it to the jumper and pants and if you are in aus go to Aussie disposalls and buy stuff called scrim it's like a cotton net and if you are in America they should have it at the military supply stores same for Britain etc. It should cost about 80$ and it is so well camouflaged I had to roll over cos a guy almost peed on me when it was in broad daylight.
