I make my contributions where they matter - the UK. Note COPE took on the infamous ANC minister who said 'we will kill the whites like flies when Mandela dies'. Why contribute when they have already said they will kill you?

Once again the people of SA are blinded by the promises of a new party. Lets not forget that cope consists mainly of ex-ANC cabinet ministers and sector representatives. So COPE is the old ANC, and what has the old ANC done? Another point is that Lekota is the leader of Cope, and was part of the ANC, the same ANC leaders that stated that electricity is not a problem, crime is not a problem and then stated that if you don't like crime to get out of the country? COPE / ANC same ppl different name!

Ver true Mac. Jacob Zuma has a grade 5 education and the mayor of johannesburg(Amos masondo) has a grade 6 education. But they say that a leader does not need an education to run a country. A country is like a business. A bad businessman can bankrupt a country instantly.

15 years of free education and they are still uneducated. it's a choice thay make to abuse their power. Any person at any age has the right to education, but it's the willingness to do so!! did you know some people in the anc have never even finished high school. a good example is Jacob zuma. I am completely bewildered at how an uneducated person can become president of the richest country in Africa. That says a lot about AFRICA it has a loooooooong way to go!!!!!!!!

they have had 15 years of free education to all blacks, the point is that they chose not to be educated and choose to use the "APARTHEID Card" to abuse power. They had more than enough time to receive an education, both high school and university degree.

Issues! How come when I hear about elections in Afrikan "democracies" I rarely hear issues reported on? Is COPE just another cosmetic thing? Does its platform actually represent for wealth and land redistribution or actual human development in Azania? Otherwise what difference between the well-discredited ANC and this new COPE. In Ghana I understand the election was cosmetic and bore no weight on actual policy for Ghanaians. Empty,shallow and false democracy is not much better than dictatorship.

S. AFRICA gained its independence a decade or so ago, and for the vast majority of people nothing much has changed, other than the flag. The ANC goverment has failed to provide housing , schools , etc for the millions now liveing in informal settlement , dotted all over the country. LAND REFORM is very rarely ever spoken about , and those who try to raise the profile of complete LAND REFORM , are silenced. No S,AFRICAN ,can say they are truely free as long as the LAND remains in SETTLER HANDS.

The difference in voting for COPE is that it is likely to win looking at the fact that it has over 400,00 registered within a month. It's victory means less power to the ANC, while DA has low turnout meaning that its a vote wasted, ANC will remain in power.

Another good thing with COPE is the fact that people will be allowed to elect their leaders, unlike the current undemocratic system
