You have the story all wrong. Why was she lead by a Native American women to the river? This depiction of Mary Ingles is factually inaccurate, and just plain bad.

Thanks for your observations. You are correct on both points. This was a student project, during a camp, written and shot over three days. We had an extra girl that wanted a part (the Indian), and the turtle bit was an inside joke. We meant no disrespect or offense. Other than the inaccurancies, did you like it?
