We need to raise awareness, most people don't even know this is happening on their doorstep. I have a rescue dog and she is beautiful with the loveliest temperament.

Very sad indeed. We just adopted a shelter dog 3 months ago and she has my heart. They are truly the most loving pets you could possibly ever have. They are so very grateful to be loved. She has a forever home now. I wish I could have taken them all. So hard to walk away from their sad eyes. Please, no more breeding. It is stupid and selfish. Money isn't everything...Love is the answer. You can see it in their eyes. Bless them.

Very sad but true. More people need to watch this video and understand that we have too many dogs in shelters and too many put to sleep every day because of over breeding. I agree Copinski i wish breeding would be banned too. If you are thinking about getting a dog, please adopt one of the many beautiful, loving, loyal dogs that are waiting for you in the shelter. They are only there because humans let them down. :(

so, sad. How does this happen in a 'civilized' country. I think a ban should be put on the breeding of pedigree dogs for a couple of years so that people would have to give homes to shelter dogs. It's not right that people are cashing in on breeding when perfectly healthy dogs are being put to sleep!
