This is one of the best shows for Baby I've seen!

I agree with bloodyvictoria about the make-up, and I personally, PERSONALLY, think that some of the models could have been different, but they aren't horrible, so that's good. I honestly would like to see some Japanese or at least Asian models in some of these fashion shows, because I think they should represent some of the fashion line since it is a Japanese fashion line.

But this is MY personal OPINION, so don't anyone get super mad please.

I quit agree with you, but also not. Because, at least that is what I understood from this stile, Lolita is ment to be the most kawaii/cute way to dress. Like dolls. And the most dolls have big bleu eyes with long blond hair. Al though I agree with you that I think that would have been more fitting, I also understand why not.

Why argue with the designers? Its not like some person spontaneously went out and bought a bunch of Baby dresses and had their own fashion show without anyone from the actual company knowing. Its their fashion line. They can do with it what they please.

This is my personal opinion so i hope you respect it.

The models. Because of their body, I think Baby's dresses look wonderful; their long legs display better the dress shape and their design. The make up its wrong, not because it's not 'sweet', just because it doesn't fits with the all body colors.

Attitude. Baby, and all the other brands, are trying to show their clothes in a serious way .I'm not saying that the japanese models are not serious, but they don't have to act in stage.Here,

I definetely agree with you! and I give you my respect for your opinion. No offense to the Japanese, but all i saw in Japanese show, i saw a bunch of happy girls, i couldn't see the details in their dresses.

I don't know why every one is crit the models/makeup/presentation in the show - I think its lovely and really different than what we see every same damn time in the bibles. The juxtaposition of the models attitudes to the clothes they're in really makes the clothing pop. Baby is trying to present themselves seriously here as opposed to the usual cookie cutter lolita look and they're doing a fine job of it. Just because its not what you're used to seeing doesn't make it any less valid.

What are you talking about? I think they look amazing. I think the red lipstick and bitchy faces suits lolita perfectly. This is a fashion show where they are trying to show off their clothes in a more "high fashion" light. What do you expect them to do, jump around like fools acting like dumb anime girls?

Well I don't know how much you know about the fashion world, but most models are very thin. In fact, if these girls were indeed Japanese, they would also be very skinny (if not just as thin as the models shown here).

I agree that girls with smiling faces make wonderful lolitas, but at the same time I think the girls chosen for the fashion show also look great in lolita.

High fashion? Lolita is part of youth underground street fashion and as for your comment of "dumb anime girls", most Lolita followers wouldn't want the fashion to be associated with anime.

Oh thank you for your concern but I am very familiar with what lolita fashion is already. :) As for my comment about "dumb anime girls" I was being a little bit sarcastic. My point being that the models being serious and poised is BETTER then "acting like dumb anime girls".

As for your last question, well in my opinion, a lot of lolita girls ARE kinda bitchy! LOL In a good way though. And if coordinated in the right way, yes red lipstick would look wonderful with sweet lolita.

Most of the pursuers of lolita fashion I know of are rich bitches with too much time, who are usually so fat they make the clothes look terrible, theres only so much you can put in one space, the prints are overdone so you need something a little bit uncute to balance it out!

Yeah, I think that the hair and makeup really didn't fit the look of Baby at all. The makeup could have been good with some other lolita outfits, but only in the classical, aristo, got or ero sub-looks.

I get that on the runway and on the street are really different, and it's a good idea to do something different from what the everyday loli would do for the show, but I still don't think the hair and makeup was fitting. I would have gone more with the very rouged cheeks and shiny, pink lips for most of these outfits.
