  • You really think this is the best scene?

  • The song in this scene is Death Rides a Horse by Ennio Marricone.

  • feminist movie?

  • Quinten Tarintino = japanese stereotype king. Or um, chinese?? Ah well Chinese, japanese, dirty knees, look at these. Who cares...

  • So what is the song name that use in this scene?

  • O-ren Ishi, shoubu wa mada tsuicha inai yo

  • charlie browncan :)))

  • where's tarantino?

  • Good artist copy, great artist steal!

  • Best call out...EVER

  • People take some 20 seconds to realize that they probably shouldn't be there. Lol

  • uma is sooo FIT! in this scene.

  • Charlie Brown disliked the video 31 times. What a douche bag.

  • what does 0-ren say at 1:07 i hear a beep

  • @halloween666origin She whispers her name, because she remembers her. The reason it was bleeped out was because they didn't want people knowing her true name until the second movie. Her real name is Beatrix.

  • @halloween666origin she says Beatrix

  • Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. Ron Burgundy on the flute...

  • I AGREE

  • I ALSO THINK THAT THIS IS THE BEST SCENE

  • Uma gives a performance here that is disarming.

  • This gives me the chils everytime i watch it! <3

  • 1:23 now that's some REALLY high blood pressure...

  • My favorite scene from my favorite movie <3

  • Venganza en su mas puro estado

  • the things I would do to lucy liu. lol

  • what's the name of this soundtrack?

  • @Toffiee014 Its "From man to man" Composer its Ennio Morricone, no other. This piece was first used in a movie from the 60s, it was Lee Van Clief movie, a western. Glad to help

  • He does NOT credit EVERY film he "borrows" from. That's one of the big criticisms of Tarantino - he does exactly what you criticize others for doing - only you place Tarantino on a pedestal and the others you call thieves.

    Makes a lot of sense.

  • What is this song

  • Thurman is so hot

  • Why is it that nobody recognizes what a blatant rip-off artist Tarantino is? Some of these scenes, shots, and sound effects are EXACTLY the same as the movies he's supposedly "tributing."

    Give me a fucking break.

  • @Virility Heck yeah, he's a rip off artist; emphasis on artist. If imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, the original creators should feel honored to get the nod.

Tarantino is like BASF...he doesn't make the scene, he makes the scene better. And he's brought attention to all the great music he's used in his sound tracks.

  • @LStoneB I love how all Tarantino fans think it's alright to blatantly steal ideas and imagery from other artists. If anyone else did it you'd all be screaming "Hack! Thief! Rip Off!" with the rest of us. Tarantino does it, throws around the word "homage" incessantly, and his fans think he's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Yeah, he's a real "artist" alright.

  • @Virility LOL....because he doesn't steal he BORROWS!!! He gives credit to the films and directors every time. PLUS THE PLOT AND STORY IS HIS!!!

A real director who takes without asking or giving credit is a rip off theft........Case and point Black swan is a rip off of perfect blue because the director claims he wasn't influence by it, same goes for inception and paprika.

  • @Virility Q.T evolves the scene that he "steals" into something greater that fits his story.

Similar to how nirvana took the pixies sound and evolved it into something greater.

When you fail to do that as a director you get a carbon copy like BLAck swan is to perfect blue. Or megaman to astro boy.

  • @jace89 If you think Tarantino gives credit to EVERY film he "borrows" from, you're dreaming.

  • @Virility Ummm.....he actually does.. Watch some of his interviews

  • What does she say?

  • @kilmarsh Beatrix says, "O-Ren Ishi! We still have unfinished business."

  • O-Ren Ishii Shobu wa mada tsui cha innai!!!

  • My fav scene in the movie.

  • Tarantino's best film.

  • 0:59 >> "Fuck my life"

  • i dont know about best scene, mainly because the whole movie kicks ass, but this is definently the most intense part

  • I like training with Pai Mei scene more :)

  • @clborg88 Thanks

  • Did O-ren say "oh shit" ynder her breath when she saw her?

  • @lazytobi24 Sounds that way, but she actually said the Bride's real name :)

  • @ThatCrazyStranger Thank you

  • @lazytobi24 No, she said her name, which at that point of the series, is deliberately kept hidden from the audience.

  • @bmecoli Thank you

  • @lazytobi24 Not quite, she says "Beatrix", The Bride real name. Tarantino kept the name hidden from the audience until vol. 2.

  • CHARLIE BROWN!!!

  • i only got 2 words to say......Pussy Wagon

  • o-ren ishii, shobu wa mada tsuicha inayo!

  • @radubradu i luv da partttt i rewind it all da time

  • charlie brown diskled this video 30 times

  • 29 people got their arm cut...

  • Hard to find best scene because the whole movie is a moving art

  • Whats the name from the melody of 1:15 ???

  • 0:37 what's this music called?

  • @07sickside, its called "death rides a horse",....

  • these japanese thugs have high blood pressure

  • SO not the best scene. by far.

  • best scene is the last scene. but every scene is pure gold.

  • Soon to be classic.

  • guys any1 can tell me how the song is called pls?any1 know?

  • see the kido's eyes..? full of revenge anger, great acts,..and o ren-ishi, she's blinks saw that, sweet dangerouslly kido... :) absolutely best scene...

  • great scenes, movieclips, and acts....cool..

  • Please do us all the favor, and fix the aspect ratio, so it's not all squeezed, by adding the following code to the tags of the video:

    yt:stretch=16:9

  • Wrong aspect ratio! FIX IT. And do it right from now on ffs!

  • Who knows the name of the sound clip at 1:15... im tryna find it soooo bad.... i think its really bad ass!!

  • @MisterMoreno10457 It's an excerpt from the song Ironside from Quincy Jones

  • Oh sure, when it's done in a movie its cool.......but when its done at Columbine, its a tragedy, lol

  • Lol sophie's got massive hypertension

  • He´ll be coming down the mountain,he´ll be coming down the mountain

  • WHICH ONE IS QUENTIN??!!

  • does anyone know where i can get a clear audio clip of the noise at 1:17 ?

  • @matrixrory Its called Ironside by Quicy Jones

  • Concerteza, a melhor cena

  • THIS IS BY FAR ONE OF THE BEST SEENS AND I AGREE WITH THE PEOPLE ON HERE IT IS THE BEST BUT YOU SEE HOW SHE BLEEDS OUT LIKE THAT AND IS STILL ALIVE ITS GOOD AND FAKE AT THE RATE THE BLOOD WAS POURING OUT SHE WOULD HAVE BLEED TO DEATH IN MINUTES I COULD BE WRONG BUT COULD BE RIGHT LOL

  • My heart never raced and gripped my g/fs hand so hard at this part.. The minute she chopped off her arm, my g/f's nails dug in so hard. I didn't feel it till the end of the movie. The most intense scene ever!!! The music brought such an intense moment as well. Unpredictable!!!

  • Her arm OHH!!

  • OOH UMA!! you are so sexy with a katana :D

I love Kill bill ist really AWESOME!!

  • I love uma thurman but those front bangs dont do anything for her. her hair looks great at 2:00

  • I love the Bruce Lee shout out!

  • i like how long it took the ppl to decide to run out

  • Fuck yah i like the song goes with it!!!

  • Bruce lees cousin

  • Chuck Norris's sister..

  • @8692brent You don't need to add the s, if it is a name. It would just be Chuck Norris' sister.

  • @SexyWhiteKorean You are so mistaken. Norris' implies belonging to a plurality of Norri. Norris is not a plural, therefore Norris's is correct. The fact that Norris is a name has nothing to do with this rule of grammar. The Queen's senior palace is St James's Palace, for example.

  • But... something that I don't understand is why Sophie is wearing chinese clothes always. (She has japanese and french descent, no chinese...)

  • Poor Sophie... And then she cuts her other arm. Julie Dreyfus's japanese is very good.

  • An average human being has 6 liters of blood... Japs at least have a ton :)

  • This song is freakin epic, it really made the scene.

  • Poor Sophie now one even helped her.

  • Quentin Tarantino FTW :D

  • what's the music?

    01:16-01:18

  • @JoSe1997JvT Ironside - Quincy Jones

  • OMG the blue eyes wwooww

  • her yellow track suit looks so familiar

  • @csynn its from bruce lee's The Game of Death movie.

  • Charrrlieeeee bramwjawn. Got to love the Japanese.

  • it didnt even show her fighting anyone wtf

  • actually the best scene is the next 1

  • I really love the intensity of this scene. Uma Thurman can really pull off one really pissed angry bitch

  • 28 people will have their arms chopped off

  • charlie brown

  • Oh God I was shivering at this part!!! This was the best part of the movie! The intensity and suspense. Fricken epic!!!

  • Tarantino is the master of chosing the right soundtracks :D

  • fucking epic

  • Imagine how O ren would have felt if it was real when she heard someone yell "Oren Ishi, We have unfinished business!" I think about the fact that she is not used to anyone even daring to yelling her name.

  • Great music. Ennio Morricone.

  • plz plz plz tell me the song name Im tired to searching it

  • @sfdgu

the song is: Death rides a horse by Ennio Morricone

  • おーれんいしい!しょうぶはまだついちゃいないよ!

  • Best scene alright, always replay it endlessly!

  • REVENGE IS A DISH BEST SERVED COLD!

  • @walksonffire i have that suit. but i am too fat to wear it and i cant fight.

  • damn she made her mouth look angry to lol

  • I loved this scene so much I taught myself the Japanese Beartrix speaks.."shoa boa madatsui chienia"

  • Great music from Death Rides a Horse.

  • I have the same shoes :) Bruce Lee Game of Death shoes

  • can someone translate to me what is Uma saying in Japanese?

  • @adiman83 Oren Ishii! You look great in a kimono!

  • Best movie ever. O-ren always reminds me of Lady Snowblood.

  • Even for someone like Oren this would still scare the crap out of most people. Especially given that it most likely caught her off guard and add that the Bride was presumed dead or close enough. Epic way to get someone's attention. I think I'll do this when my room mate finishes the orange juice and puts the carton back in the fridge empty. ♥

  • Talk about NO talent in movie making.

  • @ncPsychosis WHAT?

  • I LOVE !!!!!!!! ♥♥♥

  • when shes walking over the glass the bottom of her shoe says FUCK U 1:48

  • seriosuly....theres way better scenes then this.

the gogo fight....the crazy 88 fight.....

  • @GeneralMLD All the scene is the best scene of the movie I think

  • @GeneralMLD u are wrong u silly goose

  • i love the part with her and chiaka kuriama "gogo" fighting, that part was bad ass!

  • My wife woudn't be so sypathetic.

  • Man I need to watch this film again.

  • can i any1 remember the name from the song that starts at 0.38 ?? the only think i can remember is that it is from a western/

  • @gialos

From Man to Man (Death Rides A Horse)- Ennio Morricone

  • O-ren Ishii! Shoubu wa mada tsuicha inai yo

  • What's the name of this sound?

  • don't you think one of those civilians running out would have called the police? lol

  • no one had a gun?

  • The funny thing is, just before this scene I was thinking "man that guy looks like Charlie Brown".

  • Bring me four pepperoni pizzas!

I need to learn how to say that in Japanese.

  • @agahnimo That's alright. It doesn't change the fact that she's awesome.

  • @agahnimo dude, she's defending herself. Have you seen the whole movie? She only wanted O'ren but she had to go thru all of O'ren's bodyguards/Crazy 88s.

  • @supaflytillidie420. I know right, when she's calling for Oren to come out in Japanese I rewind that scene over and over, so to see and hear it again and again because the Bride is so badass!

  • @mckfrr This scene, and the one when Oren and the Crazy 88 are walking down the hall in the House Of Blue Leaves and they play that bad ass music as they zoom in on her are the BEST. Hands fucking down!

  • Director: Cut!!! Add moa blood!!!!

  • Oh dear... I've only seen Kill Bill on TV, I think they edited out the part where the blood hits the camera... and the spraying sound

    Charurii Buraon!! xP

  • Sofie got pwnd

  • anyone knows the name of the music in the background??

  • Uma thurman rocked to the core

  • She's not say the japanse's phrase, the other girl told this.

i love this film and this scene <3

  • ho do you pronounce SHOUBU WA MADA TSUICHA INAI YO

  • This scene alone deserved a fucking Oscar......On the real.

  • Chari Buran - chan!

  • hands down best scene of vol 1

  • FINISH HER !

  • Ultimate vengeance scene.

  • @JoeBro715 Ennio Morricone - Death Rides a Horse

  • This is the best scene of all kill bill scenes :)yes thats right !

  • @JoeBro715 But unfortunately it's not in the soundtrack, which really surprises me.

  • @JoeBro715 This epic song is "Ennio Morricone - Death Rides a Horse" ..... It took me ages to find this song, and when I finally found it, I was so happy. It literally made my day.

  • This scene (and film) is so thrilling for me. One man army ftw! One of the best films of this decade.

  • Uma Thurman sounds so bad ass when she's speaking in Japanese!

  • @supaflytillidie420 was it really her?

  • @punishalltrolls does it really matter?

  • Comment removed

  • @iankevinsevilla First off all, Why would Sofie say that?

And secound, Sofie's mouth was bloody and her mouth that speaks isnt bloody.

  • @iankevinsevilla And. The Bride: [in Japanese] O-Ren Ishii! You and I have unfinished business!- IMDB

  • @iankevinsevilla How the hell does that make any sense? Mayhaps, you should you should watch the movie again and come to the same logical conclusion that EVERY other person who has ever seen the movie has: Beatrix is the one who said it. Sofie is the one standing in terror with a murderous woman holding a samurai sword behind her.

And in case you didn't notice, that was Uma Thurman's voice.

  • @supaflytillidie420

I saw Sohpie's mouth moving. I initially assumed it's her talking. Don't burn me alive!

  • @supaflytillidie420 Se does not the one who speak Japanese, was Sofie Fatale (Julie Dreyfus).

  • @thehellboundheart007 No it is not. You're wrong. Watch it again.
