  • could you send this hack in a linke to me

  • Ah... this takes me back.

  • ok, and it was the music that reminded me of sonic, not the game

  • hey, how do you hack games? and why does this remind of sonic?

  • Lunar magic

    and because your gay.

  • that is really cool, this one of my favorite custom levels so far! :D

  • Where dd you find the SNES style Rainow Road music? XD

  • Oh, and its really the MKWii version of the music?

  • No, it's Mario Kart DS' Rainbow Road music.

  • Wow, MKwii Rainbow Road music fits this very well!

Nice level design, I'm looking forward for this.

  • Cool

reminded me of a sonic level

because really where you fall from there is always a bottom

and lots of slopes and all that jazz

i dont know it just looks pretty sonicish

    its a cool thing though

  • @stevoisiak: You misspelled "grammar".<_<

Anyways... I always thought of the Rainbow Road music as a fitting final/semi-final stage background music. I don't think it fits for the first level of the game.

I can't criticize anything else about this level. The level design isn't completely straightforward, and it's better than mine would ever be. Very good overall.

  • That music is just placeholder. :P

  • In the GBA version, do u know how to do the spin thingy?

  • I've never played the GBA version, so I have no idea.

  • Grammer issue. It said, "Sometimes there is star coins". Still, SWEET HACK!

  • I don't find anything wrong with that. :/

  • It should be "grammar" and it should be "Sometimes there ARE star coins."

  • Awesome! What tool does a relative search for SPCs and replaces them?

  • good hack

next time you need to add yoshi coins it adds replay value to your hack

  • I've replaced Yoshi coins with Star Coins, and they are present.

  • Cool, but try get better qualitly of video net time :p.

  • ya no there are many things to point out of why it sucked......

na i am just kidding its awsome

  • OMG stop asking everyone the same questions!!!

    Once is enough!

  • Also, I like the idea of the flying star coins :)

  • Thanks, it was fairly simple to do. Yay for hex editing!

  • It's a nice level, I like the pipe theme. I think that a good compliment to a pipe theme would be screen-scrolling pipes, just a suggestion. 5/5.

BTW did you actually put the music in the game, or did you just play it during the level recording?

  • That music is in game. :P

  • Oops nevermind o.0

  • Awesome level!

But where's the music from and what is it called? It's so familiar...

  • It's Rainbow Road from Mario Kart DS.

  • BTW, its placeholder music until I find some better music to fit the level. :P

  • Lolz

  • Your levels are great as usuall boingboingsplat.

    Nice choice of music. =]

  • god what a jackass you talk so much Wario

  • wtf is WTF it just isn't capatalized. >_>

  • Same thing. >_> This comment fails. HARD.

  • WTF means What the fuck.

  • How do you get the Rainbow Road music in the game?

I'm asking it for a friend.

    "What? NeoWynaut got friends?"

  • I used a tool called "addmusic" Not sure how good Google will work though. :/

  • Thanks, I found it at SMWCentral, and some other interresting stuff too.

  • Sorry for double posting, but I don't know how to start it up.

  • If you've found SMW central look through the Documents section, there should be a tutorial called "Overworld Music inserter" to add level music you need to type a different line:

    addmusic smw.smc LEVEL

  • I readed how to do it, but if I type this in CMD, after I press Enter, it says "?????????" and nothing happens next.

  • Its supposed to do that.

  • What next?

  • After you have sucessfully inserted it? Open up Lunar Magic and hit the Note Block button. At the Dropdown list change it to "20: Not used"

  • I tried to do it, but without succes, can you make a walkthrough video of using this?

  • Urban Dictionary is your friend.

  • wtf? he is acting funny.

  • Um... Okay then... >_>

  • great level boing boing! I only didnt like the mid point floating. it looked odd.

  • Meh, not the first time. Plus its normal in Mario's world; there are floating blocks! Besides if I had it connect to the pipe there would be a blank line between the pipe and the bottom of he midway point. :P
