WoW - I know nothing about US politics but David letterman just gave Herman Cain the interview from hell, he was relentless! and in his face - and Herman just kept smiling and answering his questions (Briliantly - I have no clue what he stands for but he was amazing! in the interview cudos to Herman Cain for surviving such an assault - Dave letterman you just went down in my opinion!

I'm under the impression that it will all somehow balance out. Each state pays taxes, and there are federal income taxes as well. People aren't factoring that in. Ive heard him explain this when moderators have asked the same thing. Maybe it'll be like obama...promising to close Gitmo, promising o bring our troops home, no new taxes, etc,etc, etc, all promised when he ran on his "yes we can" platform. I'm a moderate...I think they all lie.

I really cannot believe Dave's behavior during this interview. He is such a democrat...won't even listen to Cain. Did u hear? Cain is a freaking rocket scientist, for real. He designed missile ballistics for the military...and he has run and lead huge corporations. Dave is no match for this man. I do like Dave, but what a difference when Obama is on here.

@mybeautifulbailey Jayme Lee Do you realize how many states do not pay tax as of today on prescription drugs, clothing, food, basic needed items etc.? Do you know how many states do not even have a sales tax? Residents of four states – Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon – would have to start paying a sales tax. Then there are states with low tax. You need to google "states with no sales tax" and take a look at the wiki page and see what will ALL be affected by this terrible plan.
