For example, it is now mandatory on ALL forms of auto racing to wear the HANS device, were it was optional back then. @jellybobs Not being able to perform in one race does not make alonso a bad driver. Even senna had a race in which he crashed and died. No offence but one thing i know for sure is that webber is not a potential champion. Hes a very mature and a sensible driver but not a fighter like alonso, hamilton, kubica, vettel (true warrior lol) , and even roseberg. I'd like to see Kubica if not alonso win the next championship.

vettel is only young, these days you cant expect drivers to win championships straight away, theres only 0.5 seconds in pace between the top 12 or so drivers? its not an easy task, but its down to what happens on the day. luck is everything.

@badboy10ize Vettel is nowhere near the best on the circuit. He is severly lacking in race craft. He's fantastic (and probs the best) on 1 lap pace and in clean air but he's proved at Silverstone, Turkey and Spa that his race craft is lacking. Infact just look at Turkey last year where he got stuck behind Jenson, even Brundle was shocked.

Vettel is very quick on one lap but lacking in race craft. like Massa he can't get past slower cars quick enough, which is a worry.
That said, he is still incredibly young, i'd be surprised if he doesn't end up as a multiple world champion by the end of his career.
