@SanDiegoNewsVideo really i had no idea....most normal people put it on one time and i didnt watch it..just 10 sec..i watched the stolen version....much better.
@Nawabid your so fucking Retarded i was 3 blocks whan this happened Fbi Cia San Diego pd El cajon pd santee pd was at the scene there even was a reinforced police tank that showed up 10mins before the gun men shot him self in the head. sad day man i still remember the the Smell of the smoke and seeing people in the street freaking out.
With respect to what happened and the fact that the officer made it, from 19:55 to the end of the video was one of the coolest things i have ever seen.
Awesome Video. Prolly the craziest vid i have ever seen. Has everything gun fight. wounded officer, dog shitting on grass. Structure fire, lady using a walker, seemed like a ladder truck hitting the bravo side, Heli air dropps, guy on play pipe, tactical police, "Tactical fire team" lol..CRAZY!
With police brutality on the rise and police beating up the people catching it all on camera i think we will see alot more of this in future, Occupy and G20 videos reveal the true nature of the police department, Corporate stoogees. Whilst I feel for the constable in the video, when the time comes, please choose the right side, and honour your oaths.
This is by far the craziest YouTube video I have ever seen maybe because I live in el Cajon too but it really makes you think how el Cajon is getting worse and worse everyday.
This was a dead-end street. Medics could not get to the officer because the gunman was still inside, alive, with an assault rifle. Their response time was reasonable in my opinion given the circumstances.
@AristideTV Your asking about the E.M.T... well if the cops were serious they or any normal headed person would throw them in the backset with a buddy and Code 4 LnS to the hospital. Dispatch, HQ and get the hospital ready. Not wait for 10mins.
@hitmans10z i couldnt agree more, lack of fellowship on that department, its obvious it wasn't that bad of a wound, glad he lived but i know if i had an officer shot i would be right next to him the whole time, using my own hand(apply pressure yourself could ultimately knock him unconscious, they basically left him by himself so they could shoot a suspect, stupid in my opinion.
@SanDiegoNewsVideo I understand that. but it would make sense to apply something other than ones hand to stop the bleeding. I would think someone would have taken off a shirt or something. It would have also helped the officer to relax instead of having him try to apply enough pressure on his own wound while obviously losing consciousness.
Fair enough, but honestly he was not bleeding that bad. The aftermath of blood on the ground was about 2 inches wide. I too would think it would have been more bloody, but thankfully, for whatever reason, it wasn't. The officer was providing cover for his fallen comrade. There were around 6 officers on scene total, only two (including the wounded officer) on the side of the block we were on. We all feared the gunman was going to walk out to the street and start shooting.
Im the kind of mothafucker that gives a shit about a cop.. I aimt never ran into a good cop in los angeles.. So when i hear about a cop getting killed.. I usually just say "Fuck it, Im sure he deserved it" But when a cop is truly a real protect and serve officer.. I do feel bad for them.. For example this man here...
I salute all the great officers, those who take such risks every day, every moment to keep us safe. American cops are the best in the universe. Really, I mean it.

Did the officer survive?
Coocooforcocopopsz 4 weeks ago
Yes the officer survived. And as far as I know, after speaking with many of his fellow officers, he is doing fine.

Amazing footage. I just wonder why no one applied pressure to that officers neck.

He was applying pressure himself.
