I was about 13 when I played this game and the plot was intense to me in this part of the game.

I was so excited if I was an anime character my whole body would glow and generate a violent storm.

Among many other things, the final battle was very outstanding too.

And Nobuo Uematsu did a great job with the music.

I am guessing this is the PC version? I respect that they were trying to make it more realistic by making the music seem as though it was coming from the float, but I really think the realism they get from this effect has nothing on the impact created by the full sound used in the PSX version. It is what really makes this part breathtaking, and this by comparison is disappointing.

This particular scenario in VIII is quite amazing, one of my personal favorites (specifically, the Edea, Seifer appearances).

XIII probably lacks the feeling, as it's essentially been "dumbed" down for a broader audience, another example of this is Biohazard/Resident Evil 5 now being more of an action genre game instead of it's initial roots coining the term Survival Horror.

Quite sad that it's like this nowadays.

VIII-2, all of them have been completely fake. Square made no plans for a sequel, or to even show the game from the Witches Side - Edea/Seifer Possessed/Rinoa Possessed/"Ultimecia".

Final Fantasy Melody XIII, fake. No patent registered for it - was started when a user posted it as a new Fabula Nova Crystallis title whereas Final Fantasy Haerasis XIII (FF Heresy 13 in Latin) is an official, patented title that hasn't been officially "introduced".

"Final Fantasy VIII-2 : Legend of the Silver Lion" is a fan-made sequel made in RPG Maker.

The other images, were a prank modifying images of at the time upcoming title and the rest were modifications and hacks with the Japanese Final Fantasy VIII under the title of "Final Fantasy VIII GAIDEN"/FFVIII "Other Story".

Nothing for Final Fantasy Haerasis XIII has been released outside of patent confirmation and a general text logo-tag.

RPG Maker only does simple sprites.

If you want something else that's simple and easy to use - custom models, textures for The Sims PC.

Aside from that, it'd be custom maps, models and textures (outside of Kingdom Hearts ports) for Garry's Mod.

Because Edea's attack didn't get him in his abdomen. It hit Squall's right shoulder. Being a magic attack, and not even the full one at that - it would have been easy to heal. But would hurt a lot after.

Look at 4:35 and see Squall's injury. It's nothing like Aerith's which means the Phoenix Down joke doesn't go with it.

It was his shoulder, and they were surrouned by Galabadian soldiers instantly, so they could have cured him. Or Squall coulda had what I was thinking like some others were gonna do too, he had 100 Blizzga junctioned to his elemental defense ;D

What is it? It's so detailed.

It's sort of a crest/crown. Think of it as a fantasy and/or surreal take on Ultimecia/Edea showing her position of power in her clothing.

It's sort of like a modernization of the older Queens of Englands' collars and/or crown styles.

That's in the Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, bonus movie disc (it came as a bonus with the Collector's Edition). It was purposely done on the bonus disc as a joke, they called it "Kelly's Thriller".

The dance in this isn't even close to Michael Jackson's Thriller one.

They aren't supposed to. They're supposed to look like demonic versions of Fujin and Raijin. To the factor of meaning to resemble Griever in the later sequence of the game.

It's an Amano design for them, as is Edea's original design... so they look a bit darker than most in this one.

Actually it is not the same as Succession of Witches. Differences within the arrangement of the theme itself, lack of vocals, different pitches... etc multiple differences but with a repeating section of the Final Fantasy VIII main theme (Theme of the Witches, not the Theme of Love / Eyes on Me).

Actually, there were a group of Galbadian Soldiers' controlling the float from the inside.

(...What? Do some people think that EVERYTHING in the Final Fantasy series is run from some sort of magic? Well in VIII they actually use fuel to be more realistic to our world - as intended by the Square Staff).

That's how they got everyone at the jail, not to mention Leonhart was separated from the main party so he could be healed and was put up first for interrogation.

Actually, they had planned to do one (or they had at least written a script for it) but with only minor changes from the game's storyline - more in conjunction with the original script which was edited to hell in the release of the game.

But it ended up in storage instead of being produced - just like the Final Fantasy X-2 Rikku game....

I heard Squaresoft appologized that they didn't wait to release FF8 on the PS2 because it would have been a better game. If you ask me there're a lot more complex emotions in FF8 than in FF7. More rounded characters.

Not many aspects, only a couple of minor changes to the battle system, minor styling for the junction system and menu system images. Not many aspects at all. Final Fantasy VII was rushed and in my opinion is highly over-rated and is really only regarded to be the best as most "FF Fans" joined the bandwagon with VII.
