  • OMG THE GUY WHO FILMED THIS IS CLEARLY ZOOMING IN ON A PLANE THAT IS AT LEAST 3,000/5,000 FEET BELOW HIM! NO DRAMA. :)

  • It was boring the first time. You didn't need to show it again.

Why is it when people title their vids "must see" or "awesome" the vids are usually boring?

  • 287,b If two airliners are at the same altitude then the minimum distance should be 4 naughtical miles apart. If altitude variants are more that 150ft the distance between should be a minimum of 1/2 a naughtical mile.

Straight from the manual laddies and gentlemen.

  • Nice shots, ive seen this stuff often in real life as well, its perfectly safe. As long as TCAS and procedures are take into account. It makes for great excitement anyway. :)

  • Luckily they have different flight levels.

  • @gummy0021 the only reason you would know that about spins is becuse i told you and you went and looked it up, and just because you admit somthing doesnt mean shit , and no im not mad. which means your still the one and only idiot in this conversation.

  • @gummy0021 your not a professional troll, your just a plain stupid ass fuck, that doesnt know shit about flying a plane and is trying to tell a person with ACTUAL flying experience that hates fuckheads like you that he is wrong.

  • @gummy0021 listen to how stupid you are, if what you said was true, bush pilots would be extinct, watch the show flying wild alaska, and maybe you should take a few flying lessons, flat spins are very hard to get into and it isnt somthing a little gust of wind can do on its own, and and how exactly is 2000ft unrealistic the faa minimum is 500 above and 2000 feet to the sides, fucking dumbass troll.

  • @gummy0021 no shit, you are comparing a long distance in a controlled space, to a fucking ridiculously huge uncontrolled space, no shit he would be dead if the plane he was in was 7500ft lower if the fucking mountain was also 7500ft below to begin with. in a aircraft distances like that are normal now if it was 750 that would be kinda low, i fly through passes all the time where im only about 2000ft from the peaks, and havent had any problems yet.

  • @gummy0021 not when your flying stright and level, thats not close, thats almost a mile and a half,

  • I was on a Thomson 757 from Luton to Tenerife a few years ago and an easyjet literally was about 5,000 ft away from us and just underneath us

  • Nice view but pritty typical of an airline pattern.

  • when your on a plane it doesnt seem like your goin even nearly fast as that! i wish it diddd!

  • if i was the poilet i was like .. pull over jackass ...

  • Dang they're fast...

  • These planes are obviously heading to different cities, so that wouldnt count anyway

  • i was closer, when A340 Qatar Airlines, was flying from the front on the same level, beside our plane

  • That is not a near miss ...

  • I've been on a 737 that landed with 1 engine.

  • i see a plane

  • Great video, i always wondered what that sort of thing would look like from that perspective!

  • looks closer when you zoom in yeah.

  • no danger..

  • If you can see it than its too close.

  • @blazinghot18 actually aircraft in airspace (C), are split apart from exactly 1,000FT in any 360 degrees around the aircraft and that one looks about 1,000FT below

  • damn when ur in a plane it looks like it moves so slow then u see other ones and theyre fucking ninjas lol

  • was the last one a dc10

  • @1700tc ? do you mean the aircraft that passes by? thats a 737

  • it was a fair comment

  • @bwillsonz ahh plaese shut the fuck up your ugly son of a bitch!!!!

  • 100 yard near miss

  • OMG are you in space lol you must be 6 miles up!

  • That's hardly a near miss bud.

Being a pilot, i seen far worst.

  • @biggestMetallicAfan

i bet if you were really a pilot you would have a different user name and wouldn't write like:

    "i seen far worst."

    i bet.

  • @DrKranski Don't worry bud, your just jealous.

And why would i have a different user name? i love MetallicA and always have.

And not all pilots are perfect like you seem to think.

    ignorant little boy!

  • Not even close to being close

  • "I just wanted to get many views" What the fuck is your problem?...are you gonna get a prize or something by having "more views" on a video that the title says something and the actual footage shows something else?...and that just to have more fucking views! Seriously....

  • change the title of your video!!

  • Shame on you for the title!!

  • No, not very close. Not even close.

  • One mile away I guess :-)

  • I have the hardest time wrapping my mind around how blatantly retarded the majority of you tubers are. Seriously, you're a bunch of fucking 'Simple Jacks"

  • Englsh correction. You don't mean "near miss". You mean "near collision". If there HAD been a collision, THAT would have been a near miss. Get it?

  • @yanki161 Moron correction. "Near miss" means "a miss that was near." "Near" is an adjective that describes "miss." It does NOT mean the same as "nearly a miss." Get it? Thanks for playing.

  • no it would b about 2 or 3 mile away trust me.

  • That was way below you.

  • dude, thats far away

  • fuck that was very close those pilots are motherfuckers iresponsible

  • Dumbass

  • Comment removed

  • it was closer than i thought it would be

  • RVSM = 1000 FT Separation :) So don't worry.

  • Minimum Lateral Separation is 1000 ft above FL which in the US is FL180.

  • These aren't colse at all. They may seem close but infact these planse are kilometres (miles) apart

  • Lol you get many views but its rated badly owned.

  • fun to see how fast planes really go. Normally from the ground it looks like it goes slow :)

  • nice video but thats kinda gay having a misleading title just to get more views

  • mavacagà

  • or actully like 10-15 yards not 20

  • piss poor, stick to wanking over internet porn you sad little man.

  • @smellmyparts I believe you are gay sir.

  • @TheCityBurnsAgain i don't like shit or pain & have a keen interest in bi women through being married to a bi woman, so i guess that would make me straight but gay by association! :)

  • u call that near miss siriusly ive ben through 2 near disaster situations on a plane one was this one my plane and another one almost collided the other one was like 20 yards above us we even hit its shadow thats how close we were if anyone thinks they were closer than that ur kidding (most likely) im not (for real)

  • nowadays planes fly up to 1000 feet vertical separation

  • yea its normal, on my flight from antalya to hannover there was another plane 2-3 km over my plane.. that was scary ;)

  • s04r3r 7500 feet is not that close

  • Not very close ....Absolutely normal !

  • Nice vid but chage title to something like Airplane spotting at crusing altitude

  • Was than MD-11?

  • change title

  • That wasn't that close! but it is closer than two planes should be besides at the airport,

  • READ THIS BEFORE UPLOADING Yes, your vid is shit. I just wanted to say this!!!

  • i was in the holding pattern over london waiting to land in heathrow with delays due to bad weather n let me tell you i was very close to another aircraft, we were banking at the same time could read the air canada writing on the side n almost make out the model number near the rear of the aircraft

  • no, the zoom on your camera is just very very good. .....nothing wrong with 1000 foot separation.

  • I've been in a plane that nearly crashed into a mountain. If we were just 7500 ft lower, we definatley would be dead!

  • @s04r3r

yeap i have piloting an plane that passed 1500 ft above an mountain

  • @stealhty1 i doubt that. pilots are trained to spell correctly whether foreign or British

  • @s04r3r you say you nearly crashed but i can place alot of money that the pilot knew exactly what he was doing.... was it innsbruck by any chance?

  • @s04r3r 7500ft is a lot.

  • @liOVERLOADil he was being sarcastic. lol.

  • @swoodard4 Sorry, I couldn't tell by his tonality. All I could hear were letters.

  • @s04r3r yeah and if your grandma had a cock she would be your granddad.

  • @s04r3r yeah cuz 7,500 ft is such a little distance!!!

  • @s04r3r 7500ft away from the ground is not nearly crashing. i don't like to see you flying into Innsbruck, Austria were the approach onto runway 08 requires to fly close to mountains and ground on a downwind leg and then making a 180 degree turn for base and final.

  • why doesn't anyone understand sarcasm?

  • @s04r3r When dealing with people on the internet I find it's best to apply this simple rule in order to avoid any misunderstandings: PEOPLE ARE RETARDS

  • What a bozo...."I just wanted to get many views"......

    FLAG THIS FOOL!

    SPAM (MISLEADING TEXT)

  • diosss hermano que buen video vale q arrecho no joda vale... q yea hermano saludos desd vzla

  • Not even close, sorry. You need to fly more.

  • + 1 :P

  • George Carlin has a word for you: DIPSHIT. And to think you reproduce, drive and vote. It's bad enough you're allowed to brush your own teeth.

  • MINIMUM IS 1000 FTS

  • That was 3 mile seperation width way and a mile seperation verticle way. so that isnt a close call.

  • "Yes, it was not a near miss.

I just wanted to get many views!!!"

    Cunt.

  • I see nothing "close" in the least

  • Dum dumm..fly more to JFK or Neward and see air traffic. make sure you wear a diaper...

  • All the traffic you see is under Positive Control

  • There was between 500 and 1000 meters spacing! Near miss is occurs when there's less than 100 meters!

  • Man thats pretty dumb compared to what i seen when i was flying to British Columbia from nova scotia, I as on Westjet airplane and i seen a aircanada plane fly buy us the other way and it was about 900 feet and i looked at the tv screen infront of me and wew were doing 500mph and 39,000 feet in the air, and from what i see it was fucking krayzie fast shit.

  • I saw worse passing another jet.

  • that was not close at all, once air malaysia flew exactly above our plane just some metres over..

    we flow LOT

  • When you zoom in like that it makes the other plane appear closer than it really was. I understand how that could be a little scary if you aren't used to seeing it but they were not as close as you think.

  • Standard 1000 feet separation in altitude. So nothing strange. They look closer than they appear.

  • What probably happened is the controller told them to maintain visual separation. That means that the aircraft can get as close as they want to each other as long as they can see each other. They both knew each other was there, they both stayed far enough away from each other to avoid an incident.

  • actully planes are like that all the time, some times closer, its like a web

  • not really that close. the atc was ok on that one with 1,000 ft clearance vertically. here's a tip. don't OVEREXAGGERATE!

  • F'king TWAT posting this shit.

  • It wasn't even close.

  • this guy is a dufus, i just wanted to get great views. pfffff.

  • Near miss my arse.

    Try zooming out.

    Attention seeking twat.

  • not even close.. i flew close enough to a 747 to see the pilots inside the cockpit once

  • In the wise words of George Carlin. A near miss would be a hit because you nearly missed it. The more appropriate description would be a near hit because you didn't hit it. I'm paraphrasing of course. Anyone agree?

  • i agree 100%!!!! :-)

  • @bitoworld, It was funny when Carlin did it 30 years ago. Linguistically in the abbreviated aviation jargon, the word 'near' qualifies the term miss. 'Near Miss' is not a 'Far Miss', a term not used . 'Nearly Hit' is closer to what you suggest but violated the abreviated jargon length rule additionally 'Hit' is never used, 'Collision' is the proper term and there are no degrees of collision.

  • Further, "Anyone one agree?' is a Leno style comment, made popular by South Park's Jimmy. Your utilization of Carlin and Leno in the same post is a violation of the "Mixed Comedian Posting" regulations. As I am guilty of a "Stolen Python Sketch" violation I ban myself. DOH!

  • Wow!! that's deep... didn't realize i was breaking so many rules. I'll watch my step.

  • 1000 feet of seperation, say no more, let alone near miss b/s

  • 00:02 - Left Waist: Bandit, 10'clock, TAKATAKATAKATAKA!!!!

00:14 - Bandit, 10'clock... Outbound, outta range, don't waste the ammo...

    00:22: Bandit, 11'clock, TAKATAKATAKATAKATAK!!!

SHIT!!! MOTHER 'N' COUNTRY, BAIL OUT, BAIL OUT!!!

  • I think you play too much IL2 xD

  • LOL

  • This is very usual.

If you are a pilot , you will know !!

  • When I flew home to Stockholm ARN this sunday, we came with in 200 meters of a KLM yet.

  • not that close

  • Dont worry, this happens all the times, its normally, remember all are controlled bye th Air Traffic Control and all is under many eyes in many screens at the airports and TRACONs, etc...

  • No way that is close.

  • lol, not very close, i think 1000 under it, happends all the time lol ...

  • Not even close... you wasted my valuable 1 min..

  • welcome to holy shit close flying airlines

    LOL

  • Its weird how you can see how fast planes actually go more from in the sky than on the ground, lol.

  • Well yeah, just imagine that each plane is going around 4-500 MPH which equals out around 300Knots, but each one going past eachother is somthing like 900 MPH.

  • ....What? That makes no sense.... and that's not how relative velocity works. Besides, these aircraft are clearly traveling in paths perpendicular to one another.

  • What the hell are you talking about?

I was simply explaining how 300knots equals out at about 500mph.

  • I was refering to your 900 mph comment. "each one going past eachother is somthing like 900 MPH"

This would be true if the planes were traveling towards each other. But in these video, these planes are not

  • Yeah i just noticed they weren't going directly past each other.

But my saying about the 300knots equaling 500 mph is true.

  • Not quite... more like 345 mph but I understand what you are trying to say.

  • What do you mean not quite? it really does equal out at around 450-500mph going 320 or more knots.

  • No it doesn't.

    1 knot = 1.150 779 448 mile/hour (mph)

    therefore:

    300 knot = 345.233 834 4 mile/hour (mph)

  • alright i admit im wrong, i was looking at it a different way.

But then i remembered that you just times knots by 1.1515.

  • No problem - don't worry about it. Nice chatting with you.

  • Comment removed

  • you really have not flown much have you LOL

  • Ok, that was like...4000' vertical seperation. If the aircraft were right on top of the other, that'd still be 4x the required seperation. Second, that was like 5000'+ horizontal seperation. Plenty. Look, people see another plane in the air from their window, and they're like "OMFG NEAR MISS! NEAR MISS!"

  • its like this.

back in the old days there were few cars on the road an accidents were rare.

today thereare billons of cars on the road and hundreds killed daily.

the more planes in the sky the more chance for collision

  • it will end up the same way too eventually, as it is there are a lot of air accidents that you don't hear of every year. However this was not a near miss and the skies were clear enough for both pilots to see far ahead :O)

  • Its gunna be a long time b4 airliners crash over a large city now - with all the ATC it makes it very organised. It is way harder to crash cars together as you can move in 2 dimentions (forward/Backward , Left/right). With a plane there are 3 dimensions meaning waaay more space and a much lower aircraft density reducing the chance of collision

  • On the way to Lanzarote last year with XL, we flew past a jet, it was probably a mile away at 35000 feet. Then we flew through their contrail that they had just produced, and the entire jet shook for a few seconds. Still probably some turbulent air

  • Good video. This must happen a lot, one day I foresee a mid-air collision with jetliners over a large city. It will happen one day. I love aircraft but I hate flying in them.

  • Actually this vid shows at least something interesting with lot of speed.

  • you dumbass they go 700 kmh.....even more........

  • @ karin544 : could it be that you are from a german speaking country?

the traveling speed of an aircraft like the A320 is about 0.8 Mach = 960 kmph = 600 mph !

  • that acctulay show you how they fast are

  • i would say a near prick

  • prick, thats not near...

  • I always forget how fast planes are going in the air.

  • that was definitively NOT a near miss. looks like standard RVSM-vertical separation of 1000 ft... maybe a layman consider this as close, but this is standard an absolutely not dangerous

  • 1000ft is VERY VERY close, and calling others on their ignorance only shows yours.

  • its a nice video and the rating would be higher if you did not make it sound like the jets were 10 ft from your plane.

  • ooooooo ... v v close ... stupid

  • ┗┫━━ ┃ ━━┣┛ ┣ copy and paste if ┃ ━━━━━ ┃ ┏┳┫┣┳┓this fucker ┗━━┳━┳━━┛ ┃ ┃ wasted 22 se

    ━━━━┃ ┃ ┗━┳┳━ conds of ur life

  • Thats called air traffic sad little fuck

  • If it really had been a near miss you couldn't have seen the other aircraft from above. It was one or two flight levels below.

  • close with your zoom on maybe.
