You have to do the flour drop mission. Change the flour bombs to mk 84s or whatever bombs you can find. You have to reposition the aircraft to whatever you want to blow up. It's kinda cheesy, but I don't know of another way.

You could buy the VRS Superbug. I know when the video was made and your comment posted, it wasn't out yet, but now it's the closest you can get to working wepons.

@ southerncowboyz and xedistri. there is another way. download the package...go to flight sim and choose a plane and place to fly. before pressing fly now, click save. save your flight. then go to documents, flightsimulator x files and go to the flight you just saved. make sure you click on the file that has nothing on it like a symbol or anything. use notepad to open it. do what it says in the readme and save the notepad file. load the flight and fly! download the weapons at simviation

You can't really fire rockets unless you have Flight Deck 5. You can only drop bombs. On flight deck five, there is a missle on flight deck five you can fire, but it is not a real missle.

You have to play with it a bit. You have to do the flour mission. When you select the flour mission, select the two squares at the top and bottom that allows you to make changes. Control d allows you to drop the bombs. You can select the planes you want.

I don't have them maxed out, because the frame rates would be way to low. You have to experiment to see which settings bog down your computer.

The Frame rate still is a bit low, but you probably noticed that. Other than that, the vid was superb. Also, I could'nt get FSX Acceleration to work on my PC. I checked all of the necesities for operating prior to installation, and they were fine. The expantion will install, but it won't ask for a key. When I went into the game after, it said I was missing files. I wound up re-installing everything and going from sq. 1 with no add-ons I had before. Any help??

There is a carrier off the coast of San Francisco just past the Golden Gate bridge, also near Norfolk, Va. If you don't have X-pack, I don't know if you can launch and recover though.

there is a carrier next to Honululu the acceleration carrier, you can launch and recover there, and yuo cant launch and recover from the carrier at SF

You have to fly the flour drop or flour bomb mission. Go to flyawaysimulation dot c om. Get the add on where the flour bombs are bombs and the explosion add on. It's very easy. If you have any questions, let me know. Best to do a bunch of touch and goes to load up the bombs and then use the map to move yourself to the lats and longs where you want to be or airport.

well. the f-18 doesn't come with fsx. it comes with an expansion pack called acceleration. the default planes that come with fsx are planes like 747,737, a321, crj700, private jets, and props. you can get addons from websites such as simviation which is free.

It did not come with acceleration, however, it came with Abacus flight deck 5. I think that is the name of it. It adds several planes in addition to the f18s.

The first carrier came with X-pack. There are several carriers with X-pack with and wihtout arrestor wires. Norfolk and just off the Golden Gate in San Fran.

There is a flour drop mission in fsx. You can drop flour bombs from the ultra light onto targets in the water. You can change the type of aircraft if when you select the mission you check the box "enable changes" in the mission. Go to flyawaysimulation dot com to get the flour to bomb conversion. it's pretty easy. I' still dropping flour, but you can get Mark 84s. Good luck.

There is a flour drop mission that comes with FSX. You can download the add-on from flyawaysimulation dot com to make the bombs explode when they hit. they also have Mark 84 bombs that you can use. I was to lazy to install the mk 84s. good luck

With xpack, you have to be in the flour mission. You can click the make changes to mission box, and relocate yourself to another place using lats and longs. You could blow up Mt. Rushmore if you wanted to.

There are flour bombs on the flour bomb mission. The bombs are flour. If you go to flyawaysimulation dot com, some guy made the flour bombs into real bombs. You change the flour to real, and you have to use the flour bomb mission. I hope that helps.
