  • Breathtaking, just breathtaking as always. There is so much beautiful appreciation of the subtle ornamentations and voicings, the rhythm and tempo is perfect. You play with such ease and completely at one with your instrument - a true virtuoso! With you anything is possible. Bach comes alive under your fingers.

  • bravo maestro

  • Pak Lianto ini memang Luar biasa....gerakan tangan nya begitu gesit... !!!

  • Period style ornamentation, with repeating treatment of important themes, but a tempo broken up by Romantic phrasing and rubato? Unique and well put together.

  • @Lukecash12 Thank you, Sir. If you just give me a kind of usual comment, I must be won’t regard it. But, because of your critical is interesting and has a quality, I’ll regard it. It is wrong when you think that my allemande has character like romantic and rubato. I didn’t upload this piece for a long time because of the problem of this romantic and rubato,

  • @Lukecash12 so I kept control practice with a metronome so that it wouldn’t be rubato. But cause of my solid barock ornament, it makes impression like rubato. So please open music sheet of Partita 1 and please tap it by reading. Then you’ll know that I play with no romantic rubato character. Thank you or your quality critical. It’s an honor if there are the other Maestros who give any critical.

  • @Liantotjahjoputro Oh my, I didn't mean any offense. It was just a solid impression that I got. I appreciate as well that you've used the same ornaments every tme you approach th same theme, motif.

On the humorous side, I can remember that C.P.E Bach said that his father was so eager to observe every repitition of theme with the same ornamentation that he expected organist's to played ascending mordents with the bass pedals.

  • Another excellent musical performance of the Master. A true treasure of resources in the instrument that sends us these charming harmonious melodies and emotions. Thank you again for sharing, friendships, Joselito

    Michel

  • Congratulations maestro Tjahjoputro! Yoyr transcription and your performance in this beautiful work of Bach are in accordance with the spirit of great composer! Sound from another glorious season!!

  • great maestro,

you say this Double Partita 1 is more difficult than Caprice Paganini No. 5.

but i feel No.5 is more difficult than this. the reason is Caprice Paganini No. 5 is my favorite ,maybe. this double is so difficult , i agree. all works of Bach is difficult to play.

sorry for my poor english. from japan

  • Excellent video, the interpretation is amazing.

  • Impressive interpretation, Congratulation from Berlin.

  • ¡Amazing, espectacular! Thanks for posting my friend.

  • A brilliant transcription and an outstanding performance - as always! Your additional ornaments in the Allemande illuminate its form, each a sparkling jewel. In the Double (which is of the Courante rather than the Allemande), your playing enhances the dialogue between voices that are practically invisible in the linear score.

I agree with you - Paganini is often flashy but superficial whereas Bach is always brilliant and profound. Thanks for another great listening experience!

    Paul

  • @freescorepaul , your comment is very interesting, yes the dialogue between voices that are practically invisible in the linear score.

I agree with you Paul - Paganini is often flashy but superficial whereas Bach is always brilliant and profound. So i said "But like the usual opus of Bach, although the strip of melody is difficult, I feel calmer and piece when I play this Double Partita Bach transcription of mine than Caprice Paganini No. 5 ."

  • excellent work my friend!! Greetings and respect from Holland, Bram

  • Extraordinary my friend! I love Bach also, but I am not nearly as proficient as you are.

Great technique, and an excellent recording ;-) Bravo!

  • Very good guitar playing!

    (thumbs up)

  • Omg this is amazing.
