Draco/Harry makes a LOT more sense than Harry/Ginny. Ginny never really got to know the real Harry. She fell in love with the scar, not with the person. Whereas, Draco saw Harry for what he really was; a person. Draco only started tormenting Harry because Harry refused his hand in friendship. Not only that, but Harry insulted Draco in front of his peers. What Malfoy would take that in silence? ;P

And, anyway, it really is quite possible for two dead people to have a relationship, in the HP universe. Remember how in "The Tale of Three Brothers" the second brother killed himself so that he could be with his dead lover? As long as they're /both/ dead or /both/ alive, it works.
Sirius died BEFORE Tonks&Remus got married. Remus was probably thinking 'well, the love of my life is dead so I should might as well be as happy as possible.'

@cany230 Shipping doesn't have to make sense, although Drarry actually does. Making sense is different from being canon. Just because they ended up happily married with women doesn't mean that, under different circumstances, they couldn't work together. Shipping is nothing more than wishful thinking, and if it so happens your ship is or becomes canon, that's great! But it doesn't have to in order to make sense in a purely theoretical stance. Eg, S/R, which is not canon but makes sense.
Personally, I don't ship Draco/Harry, I prefer Harry with Neville. But Draco/Harry does make sense, since in book six Harry is completely obsessed with Draco. When he nearly kills him he spends even more of his time thinking about him.
@cany230 I don't find either Harry/Draco nor Remus/Sirius likely, but if I had to chose it would've been Harry/Draco. Remus/Sirius is ridiculous. Just my 2 cents, though.

Drarry is SCARY.
It makes no sense and, even if it did personality wise (which it DOESN'T), there is absolutely no situation in which it would ever actually make sense for one of them to suddenly admit their undying love for each other. It just doesn't work.

I haven't read very many, really, but the ones I have tended to be something unrealistic like "Harry and Draco are locked in a closet together," with no explanation as to HOW they got locked in the closet, or "A midnight duel turns into something more." No. Just...no. It doesn't work that way.
I mean it's scary that so many people think it makes sense.
If you read some of the more well-written Drarry fics *cough*The Bound Prince*cough*, then you will find a good explanation of how they end up together. If you only have read some of the badly-written fics, then ofc. you will end up with a bad feeling about the pairing.
So instead of dismissing a pairing because it doesn't "feel right", read a couple more fics of that pairing, you know find something good. ^^

actually it is possible, cuz when u think about it, love and hate are two sides of the same coin so to speak. both are extreemly strong emotions which can be interchanged at will. ^.^ i think... that is only my opinion, and i am by no means trying to force it on others, i'm just putting it out there~ either way, love the song^.^ and with lyrics>.^ long live the DMHP~^.^~

And my anti-Drarry stance has nothing to do with me disliking slash in general, I swear. I honestly spend most of my time reading Remus/Sirius fanfiction. I just don't think that Drarry makes much sense.
I also couldn't fit it into my last post that another reason for this ship making no sense is that they both ended up happily married. To women. Which probably wouldn't have happened if they were both gay.

And, anyway, it really is quite possible for two dead people to have a relationship, in the HP universe. Remember how in "The Tale of Three Brothers" the second brother killed himself so that he could be with his dead lover? As long as they're /both/ dead or /both/ alive, it works.

@cany230 Shipping doesn't have to make sense, although Drarry actually does. Making sense is different from being canon. Just because they ended up happily married with women doesn't mean that, under different circumstances, they couldn't work together. Shipping is nothing more than wishful thinking, and if it so happens your ship is or becomes canon, that's great! But it doesn't have to in order to make sense in a purely theoretical stance. Eg, S/R, which is not canon but makes sense.

Personally, I don't ship Draco/Harry, I prefer Harry with Neville. But Draco/Harry does make sense, since in book six Harry is completely obsessed with Draco. When he nearly kills him he spends even more of his time thinking about him.

I still maintain what I've always said about this ship.
Drarry is SCARY.
It makes no sense and, even if it did personality wise (which it DOESN'T), there is absolutely no situation in which it would ever actually make sense for one of them to suddenly admit their undying love for each other. It just doesn't work.
But I LOVE this song.

@Soppe23 There is no chemistry between them, in my opinion. They truly dislike each other, and it has nothing to do with sexual tension.
I haven't read very many, really, but the ones I have tended to be something unrealistic like "Harry and Draco are locked in a closet together," with no explanation as to HOW they got locked in the closet, or "A midnight duel turns into something more." No. Just...no. It doesn't work that way.
I mean it's scary that so many people think it makes sense.

If you read some of the more well-written Drarry fics *cough*The Bound Prince*cough*, then you will find a good explanation of how they end up together. If you only have read some of the badly-written fics, then ofc. you will end up with a bad feeling about the pairing.
So instead of dismissing a pairing because it doesn't "feel right", read a couple more fics of that pairing, you know find something good. ^^
