Don't worry, Pornography was worth it! One of my favourite albums, just rediscovering it now.OK, not an easy listen, but it's 'helped' me. I'm glad you made it. I could go on, but I just want to say it's helped me through some dark moments.

this guy was my hero throughout all of my teen years and i wish i had him as a friend, but theres something ive always wanted to the opportunity to ask - especially in the context of this, where he mentions "sitting around" and watching Yellow Submarine, as well as his depression at such a young age. i've always wanted to ask him what his experiences with drugs actually were, seeing as he reportedly used hallucinogenics pretty heavily through the 80s

I wish Robert wasn't so chagrined towards goths, gothic music, or the subculture. Sure he doesn't have to restrict himself to that label, the Cure indeed had gothic moments in their style and their music, but dark, ambient music wasn't just the only style they did.

No, he doesn't have to one day stand up and say:"I'm goth."/"The Cure is/was goth." But he could at least say that he acknowledges that he had an influence on that subculture/genre without an upsetted out look on it.
