  • pee` wee whitewing made the band a better band. great steel work

  • What's NOT to like? Great jazz with a western swing "flavor". ONLY thing I don't like is I was not there playing my bass with you guys.

  • The sound at this event doesn't translate very well into video, but thanks for capturing it and sharing it! He's so much more amazing with that steel guitar than I've seen any video capture!

  • I had the privilege to record with Pee Wee at Master Track when Mr. JD Miller was alive and the honor to sing on a couple of his shows a few years back at the Rice in Crowley La. What a great man. God Bless you Pee Wee

  • Awesome. I played with Hershul Clothier's Okalhoma Travelers in th early fifties when he first started out. Played drums. Was likely the worst drummer in history. On Sundays we went to Oklahoma City and jammed with the big bands.

  • my uncles on piano and fiddle.....awesomeness

  • I used to go see Pee Wee in Lafayette, La back in the early 70's. . He had a group called The Other Brothers and they played some great music. He influenced me to take up the steel guitar. He is a great steeler and a heck of a nice guy, he certainly deserves his place in the S/G Hall of Fame. Play on Brother.

  • I know Pee Wee very well. I use to have him on my radio program in Lafayette. Too bad his facial features are so dark.

  • This was a great find, thanks for posting this. It reminds me of when I was living in Austin and when I would visit my grandma. Good times. Thanks again!

  • Harold Pollard is the greatest ever!!! Rock on Harold!
