  • 9/11 was an inside job ... Proof ... youtube.com/watch?v=ssuAMNas1us

  • Tancredo and Hunter to of the best candidates, but both were barely able to do anything besides make it to the debates.

  • 1. Make us more competitive through eliminating the income tax,let local government come up with it's own environmental restrictions, let local government control education to teach students about factory work, and get prices down on everything,

    2. Inspect every factory we trade with to make it so the quality is of our standard.

    3. Install tariffs to penalize them. We pay more for labor make it so they paid the same in labor we did through tariffs.

  • If we dint trade with China we would all die... lol

  • sgsfd: Well trade does a lot of good for us, but we must keep us safe from toxic toys.

  • im bored on cam

i liked this video :) UO

  • Cancel NAFTA and the WTO. Disney sells toys that contain PBCs and Lead which are detrimental to the environment.

  • chaina own america now,,, hahaahahha,, well i suppose they own us so too,,, shit!! why trade at all with chaina given their human rights abuses???? what goes on in some parts of chaina is worse than what saddam ever did...well i suppose if i had to choose i'd pick the 1 with no army airforce or navy aswell

  • Why did he bring up missiles and arming? The amount of off topicness there was disgusting...

  • He had to keep talking, and there's not much you can say to that lady's question except "No, I don't think our kids should be poisoned!" Kind of black-and-white, wouldn't you say?

  • He said plenty without the inclusion of bringing up missiles and arming. And no, it wasn't a very black and white question. She asked what he would do, not if he thinks poison is okay.

  • Yeah, I think has more to do with paying attention to the quality of, and materials used in imported items. Romney mentioned the difficulties involved with getting rid of toxic waste. Hmmn... doesn't China have that problem too?

  • Our politicians sell the Chinese precision missile technology (to launch satellites not I.C.B.M.-Right and they don't share?),and they rip off our space shuttle, sell small arms in the Middle East, build up their military, import our jobs, yet sell us poisonous products. It sounds like the only American thing being sold in America is our politicians.

  • "Let's Buy American" Does that Means United States or American including Americas?

  • shit now i have to find something american

  • wow what a critical question in our times...glad recent media issues made it into our debates!

  • buy american? hahaha dont make me laugh. american made toys have had the worst history in dependence and safety. and what does this have to do with immigration were talking about imports......

  • Clearly you haven't googled organic toys recently. Most are made by small businesses in the U.S.

  • yeah i know about them. but organic toys only appeal to the younger ages like from 2-5, afterwards they start asking for power rangers and "trendy toys". which most likely all are made out of the US, organic toys is a safe way and all but we just cant get a large enough market for them. and kids these days dont want them.

  • Guys, waving american flag doesn't prevent your children from bad toys.

  • Gee, I didn't know toys immigrate? Santa how could you?? Sorry couldn't let it pass on by without comment

  • Bitch! Don't use your children for political questions!

  • "lets buy American this Christmas season."

probably coming from the same guy who's going to buy a mercedes-benz and an ipod...Buy American? yea good luck with that

  • have you notice that somehow every topic regardless of what it is mysteriously ends up in american soldiers, our troops in iraq, our men and women in uniform...why? because THEY know how to control minds and even if you dont agree with war, youre obviously concern with the soldiers... is a general mode liking answer

  • Vote Ron Paul.....he doesnt talk like a politician, just a man who speaks the truth! We need a Revolution, we need to bring our troops back home and work on fixing THIS countries problems first for once!!

  • Buy American? That's exactly what politicians said about the automobile industry. It SOUNDS good, but do understand economics.

  • It's all populism!! They are saying what the people want to hear!!

  • buy american? this is what my shopping list would look like:

    cheap, low quality socks

    a boeing jet

    corn

    potatoes

    porn

    a few missiles

buy american? The biggest industry in america is the prison industrial complex...and war.

  • yup, porn and corn is whats under my xmas tree

  • everybody is applauding when he says buy american stuff but nobody will do it including me because i dont have the money to pay tree times more for american made product

  • Tancredo is a suck

  • who's the host?

  • you mean anderson cooper?

  • ex-CIA trainee and now CNN's Anderson Cooper

  • buy american? doesnt everything say made in taiwan anyway?

  • instead of telling us how it all works tell us what the hell your going to do about it. n say it straight dont blame china tell us how it really is what is really going on. i kno i dont want to bring a child up in a world that sells that crap. come on!

  • what a load of shit using china as a coverup again on the toy subject. the company's that made those toys are american owned companies located in china with under paid chinese workers ..come on people wake up!

  • I know man, it's so annoying. Corporations are to blame for so so many of the probs we're having, that's just a very small one. THey're to blame for the illegal immigration problem. If the govt held them responsible to hire only documented workers, boom illegal immigration lessened.

  • looks like there is an American company that is giving out free American made lead-free board games.

Click on the 4mutunga video response above!!

  • DONT YOU PEOPLE GET IT?? They just tell you what you wanna hear

  • Ron Paul is a very honest candidate.

  • lets buy American? and spend like 10x as much money? its great for our economy, but who is going to listen to this advice, its so much better for themselves if they don't.

  • Bleak, but true. These are the same assholes who were in office when China became favored trade nation and American sales during the holidays peaked over $450 billion. Such hypocrisy.

  • Exactly... we don't quite steal as much as these politicians do.

  • bballtez, do you want cheap? Or do you want quality? You can't have it both ways. Hunter is very correct when he says, if you want to get away from lead induced products, made by a foreign country, that obviously doesn't care about the fact that it's winding up in childrens' hands (and now, pets mouths), then the only other option, which IS going to be more expensive, is to buy things manufactured in America.

  • not even close to most of Chinese products are dangerous, theres only a tiny tiny percentage, people are still going to take that risk... if i were going to buy say... a microwave for 20$ or one for 50$ what do you think i would go for? both are assembled on an assembly line with the same basic components and such, what big difference will it make? 1 lasts 10 years the other last 20?

  • That doesn't even work. Sure, American-made toys might not have lead, but they have more problems. Last year, American toys had more recalls than their product share while Chinese toys had less. This means that given an American toy and a Chinese one, the American one is more likely to have a problem with it. China has more recalls because it makes 90% of the toys, but American toys have higher chances for recall.

  • why does she still have the train?

  • It was some of the newer red trains that had leaded paint. Thomas wasn't affected.

  • oh....LOL well she said that one

  • Yeah I know, I noticed that and said to myself, "don't diss thomas, lady. don't go there"

  • maybe china can liberate us from our zionist regime... haha

  • China is the corporate model, that's what they want us all to be like.

  • She's a union plant from the Democrats.

  • Ron Paul is the only one who makes any sense... Vote ron paul ^_^

  • you're RETARDED

  • Thank you!

  • How can you buy American this Christmas when nothing is made here. What are we going to buy a Boeing airplane, since that is pretty much all that is made here these days.

  • lol Iliketo buy me a Boing Airplane but on installments like 100bucks a month for the next 50 years lol tff

  • I never did understand why we are in American and it's next to impossible to find American products..

  • I feel sorry for this young Chinese girl. She will be brainwashed by her mom and believe that her own kind is evil.

  • You're cool dude.

  • woah woah, did u just dis china kid? man, ur gonna have alot of enemies

  • These toys don't even get sold in China. Those toy companies exist simply because AMERICAN companies buy their stuff, so don't blame China for this, what a DICKHEAD

  • buy American....um can you tell me where? last time i checked nothing is made in America that you would buy for x-mas. Have you been to a bestbuy, Wallmart, target or any other store?

  • lol

so hmm, would i like a super cool toy for 9.99 made in china

or some random toy thing that falls apart and/or works like a piece of shit made in the good ol slacker sedintary us of a

  • PATRIOT READING THIS I CHALLENGE YOU! Hunter is a good man, no doubt about it. However, the problem is the CFR, whom Rudy and Mitt subscirbe to (Bush's, Clintons as well) along with their program of NAFTA is what is at the heart of the problems. NAFTA Superhighway ceded to Spanish Company with no limits on toll collected with a 50 yr. lease. MEXICAN SOVEREIGN TERRITORY in KANSAS hub! We are loosing sovereignty and Hunter is oblivious. "READ THE CONSTITUTION!"-the Champion

  • NAFTA, CFR, WTO, and our inflation tax is what hurting America, devastating Mexico who gave up the jobs to China. It's the Walmarts of the world that is really creating these problems with toys.

    Read the CONSTITUTION

  • i love hunter and i agree it was an awesome answer.

What is your beef with him?

  • go hunter 08

  • How about instead of blaming China for everything, we take a look at the AMERICAN COMPANIES who are ultimately behind these products? "China" didn't own the factory that made those toys, Mattel and Hasbro did. If they wanted, those companies could guarantee that all the toys were 100% safe; instead they cheat us and then get to blame it on China instead. What a crock!

  • China is not a military threat to the United States. The people in China want the same things you do, jobs for their kids, education, medical care(no subsidies here). They haven't got any ulterior motives for selling you stuff, they want to make a buck and wal mart screws them hard on prices.

  • Indeed true. Walmart has so much purchasing power that they can mandate prices and threat to change their supply base.

  • Ron Paul is the only one that will make this country America again.

  • i very much agree hunter. we should buy american and not chinese because like he said its safer and gives jobs to Americans, which we can really use.

  • i agree

  • The problem is the CFR, whom Rudy and Mitt subscirbe to (Bush's, Clintons as well) along with their program of NAFTA is what is at the heart of the problems. NAFTA Superhighway ceded to Spanish Company with no limits on toll collected with a 50 yr. lease. MEXICAN SOVEREIGN TERRITORY in KANSAS hub! We are loosing sovereignty and Hunter is oblivious.

  • VEry stupid..GM is number in China right now. China is Boeing second market. I wouldn't want our big company get fuck! Stupid moron.

  • "AMERICAN IS PIG DISGUSTING"

  • Union plant. Wonderful.

Throw the kiddies in the video (Oh, the poor kiddies!)

It is your obligation as a parent to ensure that kind of safety. Don't buy chinese crap.

Of course a union plant would hint at "returning business back to America" rather than simply getting the lead out of toys.

    Pretty pathtetic.

  • Good grief. Calm down.

  • WTH Lady! Her question is so racist and Americentric. Like America should be perfect because those damn ~Chinese~ people can't come to corrupt enlightened white Americans (and especially ones who have "saved" Chinese orphans from being poisoned and corrupted by their birth country). And GTFO. Nothing is "made in American". Hell, other countries outsource their products too, so it ain't "po' America" being taken advantage by the "yellow peril" or "brown peril". Racist, uninformed and ignorant!!

  • I remember American foods recalled more than anyone before the toy scare. Maybe she should move to Europe and get some mad cow.

  • Where the hell can you find a toy or clothing or anything else for that matter that is made here anymore? I'd buy american and try to but there is more domestic content in a Toyota than there is in a Chevy.

  • Americans don't know how to waste money, which is why they can't stay competitive enough to produce anything themselves.

  • I agree but things could be made here if the Corps were less greedy. I refuse for example to buy anything made by Nike who sell shoes on average 80 dollars and use cheap swearshop labor to the point it only costs about 3 bucks to produce.

  • LOL "Cheating", look at the total US deficit, china is just a piece in the puzzle, US have a current account deficit on around 800 billion US dollars a year, China is just a smaller part in this. The US consume alot more than it produce, this is why the US tradebalance is in red.

  • US barbi-toycompany Mattel was behind that dangerous toys, not China itself. Stop blaiming China for the errors of domestic producers......

  • What a dumb question! (my opinion) Do you realy think that these guys give a damn about that? You know there is lead in the paint from China, dont buy it! Buy a do it your self book and make your own toys for you kids.

  • On the first page.

  • You're starting to mget annoying. You make no favor to Ron Paul.

  • Yeah, funny.

  • It's a shame that pretty much theres nothing made in America anymore. What people don't understand it's exploiting people that have to make these items for us. America doesn't care and of course the country that is making those items doesn't either. As long as they get there money and we are the consumers that support these.

  • Quit shopping at Wal-Mart.

  • hear hear!

  • Buy American?

Tell that to the taxpayer that can't afford things because all the money is going to federal programs that don't know how to lower costs to keep jobs and increase fair competition.

Vote for the only Hope for America.

Economic Scholar Ron Paul in 2008.

    ronpaullibrary. com

I don't know about you but anyone will buy a Sony at half the price vs. a more expensive american one with less features.

Value Talks and Less Taxes/No Federal Reserve & IRS is how.

  • I agree with renzaura, look at last week's "Black Friday..." We need to fix our education programs, so people wouldn't grow up to become assembly line workers. Get better teachers in schools, youth programs etc. . If you don't feel comfortable w/ "made in China" don't buy it..take your child to Chuckie Cheese.

  • What a stupid question. We have to send jobs overseas in order to stay competitive. That is why you go to school to get a higher paying job so you don't have your assembly job stolen by people in China.

  • Don't forget about the lead in chocolate, the lead paint being used on graphite pencils, and several other products that contain LEAD. I have a disabled child who's brain was basically fried from lead poisoning. And I hope that mother WASHED her hands after handling that toy. YIKES.

  • Too bad neither of those guys have a chance.

  • vote for them, volunteer, maybe they can be vp or sec of def

    go hunter o8

  • My question for the candidates IS NOT ARE!!!! Not even Americans can speak English

  • toys made in china are made by the american companies, mattel etc . check the trademark label. bitch is an idiot.

  • I love these answers. I just wish that we hadn't let it get to the point where there is NOTHING AMERICAN LEFT TO BUY! What the hell were we thinking?

  • ok buy american, could some body let me know where to find that? because i look at everytime i buy a product and guess what, IT'S MADE IN CHINAAA ok!!! be a fuckin realistic, it's a little tooo late for that.

  • Hardly anything to buy here that is American.

  • An even better question: what will the government do about the lead the FDA permits in candy and lipstick?

  • Nothing. The FDA is part of the government. It permits certain levels of lead, so the government won't "do" anything about it.

  • I like how I get thumbs down for being right. I have never fully understood what the thumbs are really used for. What do most people give thumbs down, and what do most people give thumbs up?

  • I give a thumbs-up when a post is coherent, intelligent, and above all, civil. I give a thumbs-down to a post that is stupid, unintelligible, or rude. I'm in the minority, of course; "Fuck Bush!" gets a +5, while "I think affirmative action has gone a bit too far" gets you a -6 and the reply will be "your so fuckin racist, omfg!"

  • I don't mind it; it makes me feel smart.
