when u hear both devaki's and lata mangeshkar's version.... i feel there's two different feels to both of them. while devaki's version has more grief in it and it touches ur soul.... lata's version is more powerful and; it is sad indeed but lata doesnt add that tone of helplessness into it... its very much like the character of UMBARATHA whos singing the song. she is sad but not helpless.
