You know, I think it's rude that you always ask other fellow card throwers to watch your videos. I've restrained from saying this, but it's not as though you're that great yourself. Thank you for telling me how to do this it's been taking me days to do it because at first before I started using playing cards I was using credit cards at it was really easy doing it so when I switched to regular playing cards it was so hard so I kept on practicing it and still couldnt find the "trick" so I go on u tube and still do the same thing the videos tell me it still won't work so then I see this video and it shows me how to practice(which is really working still trying to get the hang

not actually how rick smith jr throws it but an interesting idea. (rick smith does a normal over hand but the immense spin that he imparts on it makes it process into a horizontal position due to conservation of energy, u can see this happen in the video "Time Warp - Card throwing".)

@z11223344 actually, I think rick smith jr uses two ways of throwing card. In the beginning of the video that you mentioned, he threw a card like blueviper's and somewhere in the middle, you see rick smith jr doing an over hand (in slow-mo)

@134569123 That's possible, though its hard to tell since the begining of the video is at normal speed. I always thought it was an optical illusion caused by how quickly his hand rotates though.

i did throw underhand before, try "upperhand" its much more accurate and they goes much faster.
